The Last of Us.  It doesn't matter how many times I play that, there's still parts in it that bring me to tears.

That game made me cry too, especially the beginning of the game.

 

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch made me into tears as well.

The "worst ending" to cave story. (There are 3 endings)

(SPOILERS FOR CAVE STORY!!)

 

Best Ending: You defeat the Doctor and Ballos and restore the island, where everyone is saved and you, Curly, and Balrog fly away to somewhere else.

Bitter (kind of sad) Ending: You and Kazuma escape the island on a dragon, but everyone else on the island is enslaved by the doctor.

Worst Ending: The island starts to shake and collapse, until it finally drops down to the ground (it was a floating island). You and everyone else on the island are killed along with it.

I just started bawling at the end and my boyfriend thought something really bad happened to me haha.

I've heard about how good Journey is, i really want to try it for myself. I was thinking of getting the collection where you get Flower and Flow in the same package, but since it's coming out on PS4, i thought i might just wait for that and The Unfinished Swan to come out on PS4.

Not even the walking dead, I don't know I guess games are not good for emotion for me. However I would use it more to release anger when playing cod single player (cod 4) shooting like an absolute madman and laugh hysterically and that calms me down form being angry.

I have never played a game that made me cry. I deal with lots of OTHER things that make me cry though, most obviously, the sufferer's final sermon (homestuck video), I cry every damn time. Now that I think about it a lot of homestuck makes me cry.... hmmm....

Well, not really an entire game per say, but the bad ending to Sonic 2 (8-bit).

 

It's not just that Tails "dies," but they also use really depressing music as well.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Explorers of Sky's ending, never DOESN'T make me cry.

The Walking Dead Season 2, Star Wars Republic Commando(silly, but Sev is awesome), Metal Gear Solid IV, Halo 3(poor sergeant Johnson), and Gone Home. That is all I can think of atm.

I'll divide this into two areas: story/ gameplay moments, and musical moments. Not all of these are tears of sadness, mind you; I've had plenty of tears of joy and anger mixed in. Either way, prepare for FRIGGIN LISTS

 

Story/ Gameplay:

• The ending of Pokemon Colosseum. It was the first game I'd ever beat, and I didn't really know how to feel.
• Super Paper Mario, specifically Count Bleck and his backstory.
• The ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/ Darkness/ Sky. If you don't shed a tear there, you aren't human.
• The ending of Dust: An Elysian Tale, as well as a point in the story where you "weren't fast enough". Both for different reasons.
• Eldes trying to convince Greevil to give up the Shadow Pokemon plan in XD. The music that plays then helps that feeling. (I'll get back to that)
• So many times in Okami that it's hard to name them all.
• Often times, TF2 will make me laugh so hard that I cry. The same can be said of L4D2 and Smash Bros.
• Your first battle with your starter in OmegaRuby/ AlphaSapphire. The Hoenn games were my first, and it brought a lot of memories back.
• In Gears of War 2 when you find Maria. Mix in some pure rage, too.
• So many times in the Trauma Center games that it's hard to name them all.
• Max Payne. The whole thing. It's a masterpiece.
• The scene after you beat AZ in Pokemon X/Y. This one's notable for being the only one to actually make me break down. Which, in context, is a good thing.

I agree with what has been previously stated about Count Bleck in Super Paper Mario.

 

Also, any version of "Dearly Beloved" just gets the tears rolling for me.

 

And not really a game, but quite a few of the deaths in Homestuck were definitely tearjerking.

That game is so awesome yet the amount of bugs within it makes it barely playable.

Kingdom Hearts made me cry. I don't know why. I guess because of everything Sora had to go through and his friends (Riku and the Kairi).

The first time I played this game this whole baby part really tugged at me. I was crying until... well, the birthday party scene. Then I left the vault for the first time and I really felt like I was in a deserted and empty world.

 

Then I got to Megaton, and spent several hours walking around the town looking for a way to advance in the game, but I couldn't, I haven't played the game since then
