Anyone Play The MLP Trading Card Game?

I had ordered two starter decks of MLP Trading Cards because I wanted to collect them and I also wanted to try my hand and play the game. I play Magic TG and so I thought this would be cool to try out and if I don't like it, I've got some neat MLP cards! I am learning the game, as it is a complicated one with some pretty neat rules, which I enjoy and I plan on continuing with it.

Do you have MLP cards and if so, do you collect them for fun and/or do you play the game?

I play the game have built 5 decks and am currently un-defeated in the brony meets I go to. the new Crystal games expansion kind of eats though...all the hero cards are the same practically. though Spikes ability is awesome.

I don't play it but I do collect them. Excluding the UR's and Promos, my collection is looking to be really close to being done. I only need about 20 from Premiere, 15 from Canterlot Nights, and 6 from Crystal Games. Foils are about half done, and I only have 3 promos (I'm cheap like that, so I'll collect those at a later point in time).

Ah, there we go, a list of the cards that I have. There are also those ones from Rock N Rave and Celestial Solstice, but if you already bought it, then you have the complete set from those, and there are also the Generic Fixed Sets through those Collector's Tins, so I will get more into that at a later point in time. For the time being, I'm working specifically on the 3 Mane Sets. Wish me luck! ^^

At this point in time, I totally forgot about the GenCon 2013 Demo Decks for Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. I have the Rainbow Dash one on order, but I cannot for the LIFE of me find a Twilight Demo Deck for sale. If anyone can find one for me, that'd be wonderful stupendous fantastic grand marvelous couldn't be better not bad for a Thursday!

Yes yes yes. I'm seeing more and more threads relating to this awesome game I think people are finally realising how awesome it is I am missing a few cards from the crystal games set and the 4 elusive canterlot nights foil that sell for about $200 per card but other than than that I have a pretty complete collection. What colours are you running? i'm running blue and pink with dj pon-3 as my mane with a couple of 0 colour requirement purple and yellow cards in there as well. It's not tournament standard by any means but it seems to do the trick

The new manes are just there to make gameplay last longer :/ it seems to be the same for all the cards in general. None seem to be as OP  as RTO and WW anymore. But i suppose it's not a bad thing. Not everyone has the budget for a playset of URS.

You should just collect them to look at they look sweet in a folder. That and some of the flavour text is really comical.

It's certainly not a cheap thing to collect and you kinda feel a bit pressured to get the folder filled but if you pace yourself like you are doing it's really rewarding to fill those gaps in.

I will soon be buying booster boxes in bulk. I think I'll be trying for a Loyalty/Generosity build my first go-round. The only challenge will be to find some other fags who actually want to play the coolest card game ever.
