Scootaloo questions

Does Scootaloo have a home, where does she live at?

In the Family Appreciation Day episode, Cheerilee had the students bring in an adult pony to represent them by giving a lecture. I can only guess that Sweerie Belle asked Rarity to come in. But who came in to give a lecture to the school on Scootaloo's behalf?

If Scootaloo is so worried about being able to fly, has she been to see a doctor to have her wings examined?

Will Scootaloo have Rainbow Dash or any adult Pegasus to attempt to correct the problem of why she doesn't fly?

Has Scootaloo ever been to Cloudsdale, Flight School, or Flight Camp?

Does Scootaloo have anypony other than Rainbow Dash, Apple Bloom, or Sweetie Belle, to watch over her?

Scootaloo lives in a ground based home. Her father or perhaps older brother may have been spotted this season playing Horse Hockey. If so said stallion would be the candidate to represent Scoots. The rest I don't know. I have my hopes, but we have no clues yet?

I am pretty sure that she does have a family and she's not a homeless orphan as some people in the fandom would like to think. Yes, it is possible but I think it is just because the people working on FiM have not thought of doing an episode centered on Scoots and her family or just have not bothered to show them on screen.

In the episode "Flight To The Finish," we can see Scootaloo's room, so she does have a home of some kind. It's also on the ground, since Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle were able to just walk in.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were Rainbow Dash, but it could have also been one of her hypothetical parents.

She might have been told she's just a late bloomer and to not worry about it, but that's just my guess.

Rainbow Dash will probably help her out.

Considering she can't fly, I don't think so.

I believe it has been mentioned that someone who could resemble her dad was spotted, but I don't know for sure. Though I'd assume so, since she lives in a home and has things like a scooter.

this is from the my little pony FIM wikia

"In an August 2012 summary of an interview with Lauren Faust, it is revealed that Scootaloo was originally intended to be handicapped and would never be able to learn to fly. Faust had conceived a story playing out over three episodes during the first two seasons, during which Scootaloo would learn that her worth is defined by her talents and not by what she cannot do. However, this storyline was evidently dropped.[7]"

Scootaloo's family and home situation has never been addressed in this show. That's a consequence of the show's practical approach to storytelling, to never say any more than is necessary.

I think Rainbow Dash being related to Scootaloo was originally brought up, but dropped for the reason that Rainbow Dash may have served as a poor role model. However, they relented in making her a surrogate big sister in "Sleepless in Ponyville" as payoff for her character development. But, even then, they dodge the question of Scootaloo's family situation by only saying that she doesn't have a big sister.

I think the reason why they never address anything about this character is either because none of the ideas the writers would have would work in an episode, or none of the ideas would make it past Hasbro's standards and practices. It's all headcanon at the moment, and there is very little evidence to work off of.

I actually think it's possible the guy in the cited source wasn't being entirely truthful, considering this: http://comments.deviantart.com/4/1603670/1897651329

It is canon that some Pegasi are very slow to learn to fly.  (Fluttershy at flight camp in The Cutie Mark Chronicles, for instance).  Perhaps because of this, I've seen a few fan fics that Scootaloo is secretly Fluttershy's illegitimate child.  For obvious reasons, Hasbro can't touch that story line in a TVY cartoon.

I've been hoping for a Scootaloo episode in either season 5 or season 6 (now that S6 is confirmed).  Still, as much trouble as the CMCs get into, Scootaloo's parents must have been hauled down to school or even the police station for conferences so often they've got their own coffee mugs.

Scootaloo has a home because it's seen in the Season 4 episode Flight to the Finish, as for her family we haven't seen them yet, but I hope they're introduced either this season or next season. I would like to see them since we've seen Sweetie Belle's and Apple Bloom's. I also would like to see Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's family and more of Pinkie Pie's family.

Yeah good point, but I think Scootaloo's family and home situation SHOULD be addressed in this show by now.

I definitely agree with that. It makes no sense to have three kid characters running around with one of them having no known family at all while the other two have had that addressed.

Speaking from headcanons, we could turn that into a good thing for Scootaloo. If her family situation is indeed assumed to be negative, it makes her all the more stronger for living life normally and having hopes and aspirations without letting such things hold her down.

Apparently, the writers have said that Scootaloo does have parents.

Someone has found a pony they thought might be her mother: https://mlpforums.com/uploads/post_images/img-1162642-1-Scoots_mom.png

And someone else thought they saw her father: http://danvonfuckyou.deviantart.com/art/scootaloo-s-dad-534334579

Yes, Scootaloo is seen to have a house on the ground but it is unspecified where.

As for the flying, Fluttershy was a weak flier as an adolescent (about 11), so I reckon Scootaloo is just a late bloomer.

Recently, Lauren has spoken:

And Jim Miller said: "If it came from Lauren's head, that's how I view it. And I will do what I can to keep that true." Maybe we'll finally see them in future.
