I love spicy food! It makes everything better! :D

As long as it's reasonably spicy though. If something is so spicy that it burns my tongue and I can't taste anything for days after, then I probably won't enjoy eating it so much.

But in general, I enjoy spicy stuff.

I can't tolerate hot food. Okay, spices are okay, but when there's something like chili .... No.

I tend to taste spices even tho there aren't any. My dad used to say that I like food that taste like socks...

Not to mention the 32 ounce bottle of 'tio.

Also, once every four months or so, I eat hot carrots that I've pickled with habenero juice. There's two jars in the back of my fridge, thinking "...soon."

Dude, hot carrots are where it's at! One of the best snack foods, ever. In habenero juice? Keep your chocolate or caramel close by!

I love hot stuff, but if I eat too much of it I get heartburn. Which isn't fun.

The way I am on hot stuff is, and especially hot sauce: It shouldn't just hot. There should be some good flavor in there as well. I enjoy hot sauce on scrambled eggs and potatoes and bacon, on brown rice, on mashed potatoes, tons of stuff. Once, on a dare from my jerkass father, I took a bet to eat a habenero*. Straight up, with nothing else, chewed it. Holy CRAP was that hot. Tears ran down my face, and I tried wolfing down some almonds I had to alleviate the burning, but I couldn't even taste them.

*Obviously, not a true habenero. One of those cultivars they have at the store. Eating a real habenero straight would kill me.

Normally it depends on how spicy it is, but when you have a disorder that makes you extremely sensitive... It sure stings more then it normally would.

Basically I hate anything spicy.

The spicier the better in my opinion! Thai food is my favorite type and that can be absolutely ferocious; but I just gulp it down with no problems!

We don't have these sort of challenges in the UK but I'd love to do one. Good try on your one! At least it made for an entertaining video! :D

I like hot and spicy food.Because cold frozen food just dosent seem right.

Green Chile is the best.

This isn't exactly a yes or no question. People have varying tolerances to spicy foods. I, myself, can handle most spicy foods. I put Shiracha on nearly everything and I love wasabi peas, but my dad can eat jalapeños straight from the jar and that's something I can't do. (though he claims I used to)

I love wasabi peas

As do I, though I much prefer wasabi cashews - more surface area for the wasabi. :)

Jalapeños are like candy to me. I love them.

I always can handle spicy stuff. However, my friend dared me to eat a whole packet of Wasabi. I did it and threw up. I was sick all day. So now when I just smell Wasabi, I get nauseous. But other then that no spicy food can defeat me!

  • 11 months later...

I can handle quite the spicy foods, just as long as it doesn't touch my lips. For example I was eating a home-grown jalapeños burger no problem, but one of the jalapeños touched my lips and I thought they were going to fall off.

Hmmmm... I didn't vote, as I'm kinda middle-of-the-road about this.

I can handle much more than one of my brother-in-laws, but not as much as, say, my dad and siblings. If I had to choose one, though, I'd probably go with yes. :P

I like spicy buffalo wings. :L
