Have you used Steam's Refund policy yet?

I sent a request for Advanced Tactics: Gold.

The learning curve is fine, yes. But dear god it's UI is some of the worst I have ever seen. It requires a physical copy of the tutorial so you can do better at the tutorial... Plus, you actually have to go through your physical files to get missions going. Like, it opens up your folders tab to go through it because it just cant do that like 100% of EVERY other game I have ever played.

... So yea, bad game.

@Boyevyye De, as this thread is about Steam and refunding games, I have moved your thread from General Discussion to Media Discussion.

Steam has a refund policy?  Oh.  I don't buy a game without doing a lot of homework, so I'm pretty happy with all paid-for games.  The only really bad games I've tried are the freebies.  Like How Do They Do It?  Have you seen that thing?  Omg, it's ridiculous.  You have to see it to believe it.

Nope.

I tried get a refund for Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls because it couldn't run on my computer.

Couldn't find a way though.

Didn't even know they had a refund policy in the first place.

Ori and the Blind Forest

Geez, I was actually planning on getting that game.

Does it really demand allot?

Did you not meet the requirements to get a refund? They have a couple of requirements you know. But it is also done on a case-by-case basis.

Yeah, it's pretty demanding, and according to what other people have said on the Steam forums, it's not optimized very well either. I'd check up on the specifications on it and compare it with your computer to see if you can run it.

However, since this refund policy now exists, it makes it quite easy to check if your computer can run something, so you could use it if it doesn't end up running well.
