This night I dreamed that I was doing a synthesis and almost everything went wrong. My reagents got wet, I dropped something at the reaction, the trainee broke a flask and we had to fix... But in the end I had success with the product.

When A Bad Dream Goes Weird

Ok, so I had this dream last night, and it was one that made me wake up and say “WTF????”

Most of this dream was one of your basic “I’m trying to get away from someone who wants to kill me” dreams. My mind did not fill in the information regarding who this was or why they wanted me dead; I just knew there was a person out there who wanted me dead and had a big knife to do the job. This seemed to go on for a long time and I actually felt afraid in the dream. Then, I’m looking down this long hallway. There’s a single door on the left wall all the way at the end of the hallway, and I know (as you always seem to in dreams) that the one who wants to kill me is in that room and about to come out to get me. At this point, out comes a life size cutout of Chewbacca with a song playing in the background “Chewwwwbacca! What a wookie!” At this point I woke up and said, or maybe just thought,”WTF????”

The mind is a weird and wacky place sometimes..now to download that song…

I had a dream a few nights ago about people playing a racing arcade game against each other, with moments where they were inside the game, and others where they were in separate rooms playing it. At one point, I think the racer in first place got a promotion or something, and was brought into a nicer, more comfortable room where they could apparently play even better in... I honestly have no clue why I dreamt about that. 

 

Oh, and another one comes to mind from that night! It was about the school I used to go, and the year group was watching some visitors do a pantomime (or something like that) in the hall... or maybe it was the gymnasium? At one point, one of the characters asked a rhetorical question to himself- or maybe his foe?- and a student (who I remember didn't get jokes very well, in real life) answered it seriously, much to the amusement of the others. x3

I had this weird dream that i opened my door after hearing a knock and Chris Hemsworth was at the door and told me we were dating. I didn't question it and just went along with him on our date. it was so weird

One interesting side note on dreams.  I'm a big fan of the horror genre.  The only part of that genre that will give me nightmares on a regular basis is zombie flicks.

I remember a dream from last night, that was kinda split into segments.

 

At the beginning, I was walking down my street alone at night... though, I'm not sure if I felt I was alone... When I got home, I gave a 3DS and Smash Bros cartridge for my aunt, so that we could play against each other, along with my mum and cousin (though in reality, only my cousin plays video games, and very rarely too). I may have also chosen a Mii for her or myself, and trying to get an amiibo to work? That part is kinda blurry for me now. Later on in the dream, I went to a charity shop nearby for some reason, and found a few things in it that interested me. The first was a Sonic tennis game, with graphics like Sonic R, and gameplay like Mario Power Tennis. It looked like the court was a little squished, though. x3

 

I also found a book called 'Dalek War- Part 3', which I only saw the cover of- a single Dalek on some barren planet. The final item I found which interested me was a book for the Torchwood series, which featured enemies from Doctor Who, namely Autons and the Nestene Consciousness, though I never saw them in the dream. At that point, I could see the main characters in the store I was in, talking about troops elsewhere... apparently some of the men were enlodged in lamp posts (I think my dream based it off a different book for the series I read before), and there was a group of them elsewhere that had shrunk to the height of daisies, standing around something I can't mention on a 13+ forums    and being roasted in the sun.

 

... I don't get it either.

I actually had ponies in my dream for once lmao, it was pretty weird.

 

I have quite a few stuffed animals of them and in my dream I had more cute little stuffed ponies. In my dream if I talked to them they came alive. So imagine a tiny little Pinkie Pie hopping around and licking you like a puppy

 

And then stuff happened and I woke up and everything sucked again

I typically don't dream of myself in dreams, as in dreaming of myself doing something.  In my last dream, I was a Scoia'Tael archer and I had the cutest boyfriend ever.  We were the best archer/dual-wielder team in all of the Scoia'tael and they let us continue being a team since we were so good.  Though my commander felt it was best to let another Scoia'tael unit have my boyfriend in exchange for this complete and utter jerk of a guy.  Time passes, me and this new guy are constantly getting into each other's faces and it's doing no good for the unit so my commander asks to re-do the exchange and I'm reunited with my boyfriend again, yay !  So after that our commander sends us to Iorveth's unit where the events of The Witcher 2 take place.  Long story short, we end up being on the run with Iorveth and Saskia(we didn't know she was a dragon).  My boyfriend decides to guide us through the desert on the other side of the mountains to a place he knows where we can hide.  He guides us for two weeks until he becomes ill and we wander aimlessly through the desert for days while I stubbornly carry him.  We run into a unicorn who tells us that there's a caravan not far from where we are and points us in the direction.  Apparently, these were the guys that my boyfriend had in mind and they recognize him right on the spot.  They take us in, even though we didn't know their language and I sit over my boyfriend waiting for him to get better, which is when I woke up.   This was the dream I had last night  .

It was about being at work.  I was falling WAY behind on a caseload that is far larger than in real life.  Making matters worse, most of the the doors in the building were locked and I was late getting back from lunch.

my dream are pretty messed up. the one I had is mellow, a few weeks old wild cat, forgot what the dream called it, came out of fabric, that was in a egg, i think chicken size, tried to walk out the door, got spooked by a person, looked at me, then ran to me & got of my chest/shoulder, thinking I was it's parent. Like I said mellow

For some reason, my last dream was about a female Let's Player I used to watch a lot a few years back... she made a video (in a WHSmith store near where I live, oddly enough) which revealed herself, and it turned out- she was a guy! And after that video, the channel died and her views plummeted.  

 

Also, I'm now watching her videos again for the nostalgia.

Last dream I had involved Rainbow Dash leaving Ponyville (for some reason) and Twilight desperately trying to catch up to her at another station. While she's doing this, she has Pinkie Pie distract the townsfolk (again, for some reason) by having Cranky and Matilda tell the story of what happened when Cranky went looking for Matilda, learning that they had actually passed by each other in transit no less than four times over the years.

 

And then the town is attacked by a crystal dragon named Lowenthal.

I had a dream-mare about Sonic Unleashed... I was playing as Sonic in a creepy mansion and I could use little token things to switch between the two forms, but I kept getting beaten up by the bad guys.... Not too weird until everything was suddenly switched to first person and I was now myself, walking up a flight of stairs. I waited and looked around the corner, then carried on up the next flight of stairs until I got to the top. I went into the room before me and took a seat in front of what looked like a movie screen. The movie started (I can't remember what it was, but it was made up and weird) and then a ton of other people appeared out of nowhere. That was it. Weird. Lol
