How are you handling the hiatus?

I'm fine with it. The people at Hasbro/DHX have been working hard to put up with the brony demands. As much as I love to see new episodes, there's plenty of anime out there for me to watch.

I'm good and will wait until the mid-fifth season hiatus is finished (means that I have to keep up-to-date for another news from Equestria Daily). I'm doing such as the games I play, and watch over news and videos.

Jumping all around, constantly, so not much trouble at all.

Sometimes I even forget about the show being a thing, and suddenly "Ah, mlp. Wonder how things are going"

Often catching up after quite a while.

Plus, Gravity Falls is something I can greatly look forward to. It's something I'd rather watch anyways.

Ugh, I've never watched LOTR, so I figured this would be a good time to start. Just finished the Two Towers. Other things that help me handle the hiatus is Motherly Scootaloo tumblr, Avengers Alliance, and Marvel Cinematic Universe series, though, in that case, I'm only 5 episodes short with Daredevil, as I finished both Agent Carter, and Agents of SHIELD

It's bittersweet.  On one hand, I am feeling kind of down about it right now, since Season 5 has so far been the highlight of my summer...  But on the other hand, I am glad that I will be able to have new episodes later this year when I am back in college, at times where I'll probably need it more than now.

If I had a date on when the next episode is coming, I would be fine. But now, I'm just being left in the dark along with everyone else. I need my pony fix, dammit! Honestly I think I'm going crazy. On top of that, I have just been marathoning fan-series and stuff on youtube and watching pony-related things way more often than I normally would be cause I have no other source of ponies.

Apparently, the hiatus will be shorter than announced. The show will continue with more episodes for Season 5 starting September 12!
