Not at all - once the scene with Dax, Zigs and Scar is finished, we move onto the next day.

 

My apologies to the rest of you that it's taking so long; tell you what...

 

@Blitz Boom, @Mentis Soliloquy... give me one more post from each of you, then I'll finish the day out.  Then, we get to start the next day with some new faces!

 

As for Copper's dream sequence... we can continue that here, or allow me the chance to break it up into night-by-night sections; either way, I'm cool with it.

I do hope everyone is enjoying the stories this man creates as he does take lots of time to plan and plot things out. Oh! and a word or offering of advice. Is something up? There are plenty of things that are up my dear Soliloguy. But as it stands I do indeed know Randi, granted I know him by a few names. But he has inspired me in role play a great many times. Of course I have done my best to inspire him, by mostly asking questions about things related to the his most longest running dice less table top game. I do so miss turning every piece of tech he gave my character into a bomb of some shape and size.... Good times.

I look forward to meeting Blitz. I will discuss with you possible thoughts on a character at a later date. Likely tomorrow, as I'm trying to decide if I want to go with an earth pony, cause if their strength and skills with nature. Or if I want to go with a diamond dog because of their skills with mining and digging. Again, it can be discussed later through skype, or phone, or xbox. But for now I'm getting close to just wrapping up for the night and sleeping.

The great Randimaxis has selected me to be the next Guest Star in this story, starting right this very new day!

(Yes cwhip9 your fears are coming true, I had this ulterior motive when I asked about your character and relationship, but don't worry I won't let my knowledge influence my characters' actions in the RP, I just needed some backing to make their upcoming interactions realistic and oh what reactions they'll be.)

 

Anyway, this guest spot could become a more permanent position or not depending on how it goes. I am hosting an AMA which can be accessed in my signature if you have any questions that don't directly relate to this RP so as to keep this OOC free of off topic discussion.

Alright, I've read over the Blackwater family bio's I have thoughts and questions of course which Randi would like expect no less of me. And while I would love to just start poking and prodding at him about things I'm worried that asking will ruin plot points. Or least uncover them and ruin surprises for others. Well, I guess to hold myself over, I'll go and see about finding profiles for the player characters now and see what gems I can pull from the stone.

On a side note looking forward to meeting all of you as well! If you want to talk to me just drop a message and I'll get back to you in as timely a manner as possible.

If you want to have some fun, and somepony to write with, you can have a crack at seeing if you can track down whoever is going around and causing a bit of mayhem in the quarry. So far, there is a  home-made smoke bomb on the outskirts to go by, but more things are to come. Might be a bit of fun for you to see if you can track down this interloper, and handle whatever consequences of things in the process?

 

Figured I'd extend the olive branch at least. Up to you of course if you'd want to take it. ^^

I'm afraid I don't know enough about your characters to assume, but Carnelian's rich enough that several pieces of custom-made fine silver jewelry is just a drop in the bucket

Eh, while Illiad's certainly powerful and of great import he's hardly rich, outside of the pair of priceless artifacts he's carrying at the moment. Though given what went down the last time he was at the quarry his presence would make a well-received gift by a good deal of the ponies here.

 

I just wonder how the interaction will go down when Illiad and Carnelian meet.

The way Carnelian looks on ponies, Illiad would be much more popular with the miners.  Carnelian's a pure-bred blue-blood who wants nothing to do with anypony who doesn't serve any use to her.  Getting her attention implies you either have something she wants or you're a threat that needs neutralizing.  Of course, as simple as it would be to just put a contract out on everypony she doesn't like, she reserves that big red button for when they REALLY get on her bad side.

 

To answer your question, she'd initiate some small talk with the intention to learn his weaknesses (anger issues, pridefulness, unchained libido, etc) while also judging his worth to her.  He might catch on, though, which might make things interesting  :-P

He will have Carnelian's rapt attention.  Though she won't just throw the Blackwaters away, there will be a definite yet subtle shift in her priorities.

 

I swear though, the moment she smells the power Illiad holds, she's going to cuddle up to him like a housecat
