gaming Best Generation 5 Pokemon

redaxted

Recommended Posts

Generation 5 (Black and White, Black and White 2) of Pokemon is renowned for introducing some pretty bad Pokemon, mostly based off of their looks. Trubbish, Garbodor, the Vanilite evolution line just to name a few... However I think the generation also introduced some pretty awesome Pokemon designs. Personally, I think Bisharp, Eelektross, and the entire Snivy and Oshawott evolution lines are some of the best looking Pokemon out of all of them! But I think possibly my favourite design from generation 5 is Leavanny's. I think it looks different and generally cool. Not to forget that it's also got decent stats and moves.

Strangely enough, I also like Watchog. And Sawk is just amazing.

You're right! I'm a big fan of the snivy line - also Hydreigon is amazing

and I also think in B2W2 was pretty cool the fact that you could find a lot of great gen1-2-3-4 pokémon in the wild^^

"Look and you will find the Hope amidst Sparkling Raindrops in a Sun Shower"

... as you may have guessed, I didn't come up with this sentence but randomly found it on the net. But I like it.

Haxorus is so cool, this is my favourite, he got excellent stats and those blade on his mouth make him look really aggressiv. The pokedex description is cool. Everything is cool in this pokemon. He is one my favourite and my favourite of white and black

Please name some more, I want to know. The Trubbish line and ice cream line are always at the top of the list. Anything else?

My favourites: Bisharp, Krookodile, Leavanny, Galvantula, Scrafty, Hydreigon and Volcorona.

Well, a few other bad designs are those of the Solosis line, (they're original, but very strange looking) as well as the trio of Thundurus, Landorus, and Tornadus in many people's opinions. Although I do like the designs of those three personally, they are quite unoriginal because they all look the same. I don't particularly like the design of Pignite either. Another typical Fire+fighting type, although the Tepig line is possibly the weakest. I also can't forget to mention Klink...

But being as though I created this topic for everyone to discuss the GOOD Gen 5 Pokemon, so I'll have to mention that I actually really like the Litwick evolution line. I think Chandelure actually looks awesome, along with Emolga, and not to forget the amazing Zebstrika! I wuv Zebstwika :3

Sawk! I completely adore this Pokemon. I just love everything about it, from its design to its battling style. A lot of people hate it, and while I don't have anything against those people, I do wish they were at least a little bit open-minded and use it in battles. It's such a fantastic Pokemon and is undoubtedly my favourite of all-time.  :please:

Oh, and I'm also a fan of Mienshao. Sawk and Mienshao are fantastic and deserve more attention.

There are two notable pokemon from that generation I've taken a liking to.

The first: Joltik. It's so tiny and adorable! Plus it evolves into a giant electric spider. So much more useful than ariados and better designed as well. The other: Zoroark. I remember having a lot of fun trolling my opponents with this one in generation 5, tricking them into using psychic on it and then OHKOing with flamethrower. The first time I fell for that strategy, I was left awfully confused.

I was gonna say vanilluxe (No joke, I love the Ice cream pokemon) but Hydreigon is cool too, I think I agree with you on Hydreigon being king of gen 5

I did also love Reshiram for the first year or so of the fifth generation games release
