CRASH!

Starlight Aura

Recommended Posts

As soon as I sign in, the screen froze! I am right now doing this on my sisters laptop, so I can let you know. I had to force shut off my computer. When I try to turn it on, the start screen is frozen. I haven't used this computer for a week, and the first thing I did was visit this page, so I think it was MLP Forums.

Please reply ASAP! I don't want this to harm others!!!

If a pony screams, and no one is around to hear them, are they still dead?

@Starlight Aura, what you are describing is a technical issue, which doesn't belong to this section. Also, from what you are saying, it looks more like a computer-related issue more than a forum related issue, so it doesn't belong on the Site Questions & Technical issues neither.

But I can do move it to Media Discussion, where I believe that you'll find someone that can help you with your issue, so I'll move it there. Thank you.

It's not MLP forum. It's your computer. Unfortunately I am not sure how to fix it.

My computer is back on. Everything seems normal... let me open MLP Forums again...

Blue Screens most likely mean a hardware issue. Be sure to check the code at the bottom of the blue screen. Google that code up and then you should know the problem.

Blue Screens are also called stop errors, so by the word STOP, pay attention to the code. Google that code up...but unfortunately, Imma have to say you may either need new ram or a new motherboard...which lucky for you...you've got warranty, so you won't have to pay a cent.

MLPF should not have viruses...I think it may have been something else...

It shouldn't, but is there a possibility? Cause I have to buy a new computer now...

There have been no virus reports here...at least...for the time I've been here...so you may have had something open that gave you the virus...

Probably the hard-drive (if it is a laptop that is to say). I have experiences with that. I have had to switch two hard-drives on my laptop because my old ones got wrecked and I got the blue screen of death.

New computer or not, hard drives can get infected at any time. Maybe something internal doesn't like your computer, or something isn't compatible. That's all I can really say about this, but I highly suggest you take this to http://www.tenforums.com/, they can help you with any Windows 10-related issue.
