A musical instrument for my OC

I'm toying around with a new concept of mine.  A Canterlot aristocrat with an alter ego.  By day, he's Gold Coin or some other name befitting a business pony.  By night, he's some catchy name like Blue the Bard who gives money to the orphanage and plays music for them.  

 

Trouble is, I can't really figure out what the instrument should be!  I'd REALLY love it if it was a lyre, but that's already Lyra Heartstring's talent.  Got suggestions?
