Have you found others?

You'll be surprised how many there are but I only have two pegasisters (one isn't really my friend) and one person who knows. Saying only two and one person who knows seems like a lot seeing some others with no others. Stay strong and I bet there is one near you. They are more common than ya think. I realised that a few weeks ago.

Was that pretty hard? Just wondering, because my girlfriend converted me without any desperate warning.

Nope I just asked him to watch it with me (Originally he watched some before he met me but only the ones with greek mythological creatures), but now he's watched all episodes and all movies with me ^^

When I work conventions, I always get at least a small hooffull of people who see my Fluttershy sticking out of my pocket and proclaim, "Hey - you're a Brony!"  To which, I smile and nod, and even do my Fluttershy voice sometimes (hard to do when you're a guy, but I do okay I guess...).

As for actual RL around me?  I am an island; my daughter (the one who got me into MLP in the first place) is the only one in my household who'll watch episodes with me, so she's my one coconut tree on the island.  Otherwise, my wife... tolerates it, and will occasionally watch an episode, but she's not as much of a fan as I.  My best friend (whose home we live in) always makes this disgusted sound when I talk about it, but he doesn't shut me up.  My son prefers video games - and Pokemon.

So, yeah - I'm kinda by myself, except when my Lil' Bitty comes and snuggles against my side to watch ponies with me... to be honest, I'm okay if she's the only other one I know - she's Daddy's Little Girl, and I'm Bitty's Brony Daddy.

(I truly WISH I could get to a Brony-Specific con, though - I would LOVE to meet some of the troublemakers fine folks here!)

I haven't necessarily "found" another brony, although my twin sister got kinda into the show the same time I did, and a close friend of mine began watching the show with me and eventually bought a Rarity plush which she now claims is haunted.

So I've basically just been living with a fellow brony and turned my friend into one. I have yet to find a fan on my own.

Yeah... Im surprised he didn't get beat up by all the guys there.

That's probably because that's called assault and will get you arrested.

I have found a few random bronies here and there in stores, but nobody that I ever talk to now. It was just random encounters that never led to anything. My offline social life is like that of a rock. Rocks don't have social lives.

Just about the same here, have met one or two in passing while buying merch in stores, But since I started being more open about being a Brony allot more people I know seem to be showing more interest In MLP, maybe they just need the confidence to admit they like it. :kindness:

I met another Brony just a couple of days ago. I was bagging groceries for this young woman who wore an epic Twilight Sparkle shirt.

On her way out, I told her she had an awesome shirt. She asked me if I was a Brony, and I said yes. Then she just smiled and said, "Good man".

That brings me to 6 Brony encounters... in North Dakota. Not bad.

I only know 2 bronies that also live in my region, but we actually met in a comic con.

Outside of cons, however, I've only seen 1 random brony when commuting to work.

i have met a few, but they seemed pretty anti-social when i tried to communicate, lots of grunts and mumbles and i was not even talking about ponies yet LOL

*bump*

Well, it took almost four years, but I finally saw a brony in real life today.

I was driving through a thrift store parking lot when I saw a van with Derpy and Doctor Whooves decals on the rear window. I parked and went inside, and of course, I kept an eye out for any obvious bronies. Sure enough, I saw a woman wearing a Derpy shirt, and when she left, she went out to the van that I had seen earlier.

I wasn't sure if I should say anything to her, so I didn't. But still, it's nice to see another fan after all this time.
