Who Would You Rather Be the Assistant of, Luna or Celestia?

Both Princess Luna and Princess Celestia have asked you to become their personal assistant; however, the high responsibility and amount of work required to assist a princess requires your full attention, so you can only choose one. To whom would you pledge your service, and why? Now even though I enjoy Cadence and Twilight as much as the next guy, let's keep it in the realm of the OG sisters.    :comeatus:

I was thinking the same thing. Then again the workload as her assistant might be a lot bigger, considering how busy she probably is... Luna's duties maybe wouldn't demand so much out of me.

Depends on the student. For me, Luna. She seems more connected with who she associates herself with. She'd be mindful of the feelings of others, and will be able to teach on both an emotional and mental level. She's learned from her mistakes.....so she's the best candidate to teach that to others and help others avoid those same mistakes.

 

 

Celeatia isn't the best at connecting with ponies on an emotional level. She was when oblivious to her own sister's inner turmoil. But I woundt hold that against her. Celestia knows strong magic....and can be great with keeping a student balanced. She does well to know how to teach in ways I find clever. You never fully understand her intentions until the very ends. Aost like Discord...but less mischievous methods

I'd have to go with Luna, she's a bit less composed and more forward than her sister and thus, easier to read. I don't mean that in a mallicious way, if I were to be an assistant of someone, it would help a lot to be aware of their emotional state and what they're planning.

I favor Luna for many reasons, mostly for the whole night theme. But she's a really nice pony who is misunderstood often than not. She also proved she was stronger than Celestia, as she needed the elements of harmony to defeat her sister. Luna hunts monsters, raises the moon, plays video games (I know it's not canon)and she protects people in their sleep. That and she's never taken on a apprentice, which I think would be really nice for her. Celestia is also nice, and elaborate with her education but she comes second in my book for this matter. Celestia had a major part in everything and Luna didn't as much, I think she should get her part in being a big influence somehow.

Imagine the workload that poor mare has to deal with; time spent on the moon doesn't excuse all the missed paperwork.  *chuckle*

 

Plus, I tend to be a night owl anyway, so it wouldn't interfere with my current scheduling.

 

On top of such, I bet I'd have such wonderful dreams as a perk of the job!

This is a really tough decision. I feel like Celestia would have a good sense of humor and make the day go by quick and fun but I also like Luna.

I would have to say Luna, not only because she's my favorite princess but I also really like her character and personality.. She seems like somepony i could get along with, and that's a very important asset to ahve when you're around helping somepony all the time.. Also I'd love to work at night rather than the day, it just seems better, and much cooler..

It's there, i'm going to say it, and i might look like a damn fool but i'm doing it.

 

Even though Luna is so tempting to say yes to, I would go with celestia, though i find the princess of night so easy to find assistable, it would most likely be running a bath or something. She's either out or in someone's dream most time.

 

Celestia would most likely have me decked out in a suit of armour and given a few notepads and the like, as i have some traning (used to be a military recruit, they kicked me out because headbutted the sargeant when he shouted at me for nothing, then started kicking him, six recruits it took, six to pull me off the bastard.) in combatting attackers. If i wouldn't get armour i would most likely be able to assist in conversations tell her where the fault in a certain law is. or if the character ahead seems rather too convincing.

 

Luna would probably be a bit of a bore, but if i didn't have to attend just one, i would most likely spend most time in the night. Simply speaking of my life, or telling of the many fabled warriors i make up. Share a joke or the like.

 

But since that isn't an option, Celestia, because she would actually need the assistant, and probably wouldn't have you doing nothing for hours on end, or cleaning the hallways.

Working for her would mean rather normal work hours, although, considering the wide range of her responibilities, it's entirely possible that my schedue would be full from dawn till dusk. Occupational risk, I suppose. Also, she seems like a person who would be a good boss, and not just on professional level, since we know she's a good ruler, but on a more personal level too. I don't think she would just demand something without considering if it's even possible, for example. Last but not least, I think she's much more playful than she appears (remember the tea at Sugarcube Corner?), and I like when my boss has a sense of humor.

 

Those are the first reasons I could think of, but overall, I'd like to be Celestia's assistant. It sounds like a good job for me.

Luna for sure. I love the nighttime and I think Luna would just be a lot more fun to work with, which is weird for me to say because Luna might still be stuck in her old time ways when it comes to her work.
