I have did horse riding with this gender of horse :).

They are fantastic, elegants, calm.

The arabo frison is more energic and a little less heavy thant the frison.

And yes, I have seen a lot of type of big big horse during my 4 years of horse riding :).

When I went to Daytona in 2005, I did get to see the Budweiser Clydesdales. That was the only time I've seen horses that big though. They even had the donkey too.

You lucky guy. Did you even came close to them?

They didn't let anyone too close to them.

Ow... Seems like they're really protective. I don't think there will happen accidents around them since the clydesdales are known as bomb-proof horses; it's really hard to scare them.

If you get a chance to see horse ploughing demonstration at a fair, or somewhere like that, worth a look. Need something that big and strong to pull the plough, and it needs at least two Shires (or equiv). Or can be a team of four, seen that too. Quite awesome. :D

I read somewhere a shire weighs 1 ton, and can pull 4 tons.

Oh, we don't have those fairs.

I know my mom has probably seen horses like that. I could probably ask and she would be able to show me. She knows more about horses (been horse owner etc) then I do.

My grandpa had a Belgian Mare. She was the biggest puppy dog ever. Used a tractor as a chew toy.

I've seen Clydesdale horses in person before, and aaa they're so pretty and BIG!

They're definitely my favorite type of horse!

I see them all the time when I’m at work. They pull the streetcars up and down Main Street USA. It’s been a while though now.

I actually got to meet a Clydesdale at the now gone Big Thunder Ranch.

The Illinois State Fair has had the Budweiser Clydesdales the last couple of years.
