Dislike the FIM intro?

Yeah never liked it much myself. Not that it's the worst thing in the world, it's just that it doesn't really fit with how the show really is imo.

Ok, so this post was on this section, then Code moved it because it was talking to bronies, then you moved it back here because it had to do with the show. 

Whoops, looks like there has been some confusion. I briefly scanned this thread for mod posts but somehow missed the one my fellow mod made. Worry not, leave placement of threads to us mods. I personally think this one belongs in show discussion, despite the title as it's really about the show's intro, but if my fellow mod wants to move it again then that's cool. Either way, we're just here to put it where it will gather the most discussion. It's not your issue, so just concentrate on having a great time discussing ponies with your fellow bronies.

I usually turn down the volume, only if I'm in the mood will listen to it or even quietly sing on occasion.

 

I have a cheesiness limit that's pretty high, but I think the intro is just 2cheesy4me

I used to find it extremely cringe worthy, but after about 4 seasons I was able to tolerate it. Doesn't mean I particularly enjoy it, but it doesn't bother me anymore.

since I find the theme too cheesy, girly, and annoying.

I dont mind the Intro, i just wish it would change for once.

Having the same Music for all the Seasons now is kinda boring for me.

 

I also like the G3 Theme more, because of the guitar part.

I used to enjoy sitting through the opening...but now I always have to estimate when it will be finished and skip the whole thing.

 

It would be nice if the opening was different for once, but what can you do?

In my opinion, the intro is as bland as Ramen with no flavouring. Its Basically, My Little Pony. My Little Pony. They have been doing that to any MLP Tv show since the 1980s. So I would mostly skip the intro and go to the episode.

I wish their theme song was as good as Steven Universe's Theme Song.

I don't mind it, but because it doesn't change within a season I usually skip it.

 

But it'd be interesting if they could someday put a twist on the theme. Like they did for the Gravity Falls Weirdmageddon episodes, or with a certain episode of Teen Titans.

I don't mind the intro, but I tend to skip it because:

first: I heard it already hundreds of times

Second: I want to enjoy the interesting stuff at once

 

 

Like you I don't mind the intro. I actually kind of like it, but after hearing it every episode when i'm on a marathon it gets old. So i tend to skip it for the most part. and just listen to it when i'm starting/ending a marathon session or if i'm watching it just before bed, as i know netflix tends to cut off right after the intro when it hits the "still watching?" marker during a session. If i'm about to doze off that is...

Call it cheesy, but I don't watch the show but so often, so listening to it in moderation I love it, though I suppose if you binge watch it such could get annoying.

Personally, I like the Japanese openings! They feel more dynamic and the songs are pretty catchy, too!

I honestly don't like the intro that much. It's just a little boring and forgettable to me. I mean, even the intros for the Equestria Girls movies have better music.

As I recall, my mother found the opening theme to SMBSS rather tiresome, but hey, it was my show in those days. Imagine if they could make an animated show with an inspirational opening theme that never gets old, like Star Trek TNG had...now THAT'S a vision...
