Dislike the FIM intro?

I don't really hate the intro, but I do certainly skip it. Sure, it is certainly cheesy, but it isn't as bad as what some people make it out to be. I mean, the intro is nowhere near as "girly" as the G1 and G3 variations, that's for sure.

I'm quite fond of the intro. I think it's cute and portrays the time of the show very well. I like the way it introduces each character with not only the graphics, but the lyrics, too. Although I do tend to skip it when watching on Netflix (but only when other people are in the room).

It's all right I suppose.  I don't love it nor do I dislike it or hate it.  I don't even need to skip it when watching episodes.

But the EQG remix is much better.

I have to admit, it's kind of grown on me a bit over time. So I may or may not skip it depending on my mood.

It's like it's so cheesy that I feel a little guilty for not hating it.

I like the intro, but I feel it needs to be updated entirely. I don't mind if they use the same song, but they definitely need some new images to go along with it. 

 

For starters, at this point, isn't it a little weird seeing the unicorn Twilight at the beginning of it? They should probably do away with the whole hot air balloon portion.

In my opinion, the intro is as bland as Ramen with no flavouring. Its Basically, My Little Pony. My Little Pony. They have been doing that to any MLP Tv show since the 1980s. So I would mostly skip the intro and go to the episode.

I wish their theme song was as good as Steven Universe's Theme Song.

Huh. I never thought that people wouldn't like the theme to anything that they liked. I assumed everyone liked it on some level. I like it for the background stuff. I like the beat, the instruments, and the overall sound. I don't really mind it, and it's catchy. If I had a phone, I would get the 8-bit version. 8-bit makes everything better.

At first, I found myself cringing a bit. "Am I really watching this?", lowering the sound a bit, just to enjoy the animation. Then, I just endured through it. Then, I was indifferent towards it. Then, I started liking it a bit. Then I liked it more. Then I swayed my head to the rhythm. Then I was humming along with it. Now I'm singing along with it, at least 'internally', not actually singing out loud.

I love everything about the show, except the theme song. Seriously, they HAVE to show it at the start of EVERY episode? I mean, we already know what it sounds like - utterly annoying. I honestly can't stand the lyrics, or the melody of the song. It's just too childish, like the Teletubbies theme song. 

 

Every time I watch it on Netflix, I immediately grab the remote and fast forward until the episode starts. This is for EVERY episode. Worst of all, when I watch the show on live TV, I have no choice but to sit through 30 seconds of cringy music until we can actually get to the episode.  :diamondtiara:

 

What is EVEN WORSE is that kids make parodies of that goddamn song, like 'My Little Pony, Skinny and Bony' etc. etc. which i find extremely irritating. The MLP theme song has to make it to my top 10 worst songs of all time, but that's just my opinion. The remixes of the song the fandom makes aren't too bad.

I like the theme. It is short and sweet, and there isn't much to dislike about it. I sometimes sing along when I'm alone.

Don't like it but I've never skipped it, I normally just look at all of those tiny details in the animation as it's going on

 

I like it for that it's literally an introduction tho, showing the people new to the show a little about the characters before the episode starts (like what "Wolves" said)

Intro's fine by me. Before 2012, hated it so much because of the boatload of times I had to hear it every day when the toy line of that dreaded g3 was trying to sell. I liked how they revamped the intro according to the seasons.

I think it can be annoying sometimes, but I don't hate it. Most of the time I just wait through it, because I like parts of it.

 

Part of the reason I find it annoying is because before I watched it, I hated the show. The intro annoyed me every time it came on. I couldn't stand hearing it. But after I became interested in the show, it bothered me less the more I watched it.

I'm apathetic to it. It's better than the G1 opening and I'm a G1 fan.
