general How do you sleep?

So, a couple of years ago, I started exercising to sleep better. But, I'm not sure it's helped, as I still have trouble sleeping at least once a week. I also don't remember how many nights I had trouble sleeping before I started exercising, because I didn't keep a chart. I've had trouble sleeping at least 2 nights a week for the past 3 weeks.

Besides exercising, are you physical enough throughout the day? Also, if you try and get yourself in a regular sleep schedule (yeah "adult bed time" and wakeup time), it should start syncing your body. Plus, if all else fails, you can talk to your doctor and try to make an appointment with a sleep specialist...although a couple nights a week isn't too bad.

Plus if you're laying there worrying about it, that might be a big contributor. Restless brains keep bodies from sleeping.

I don't know. I'm not a doctor. From a lay person's perspective, it seems just a little restless. And I've had times like that myself. Usually it's from what I've described.

  • Not being physical enough throughout day.
  • Having a wonky sleep schedule.
  • Worrying about not falling asleep.
  • Worrying about other crap.
  • Staring at electronic devices in the dark (phones, etc.)

I go to bed at 10:30, I exercise at least 40 minutes a day, and I turn off electronics an hour before going to bed.

Might be worry then. Try to think about other things and not worry about not falling asleep. If it persists, talk to your doctor about it.

I sleep usually around 11pm or midnight.

I tend to sleep on my belly in a hug kinda position with my pillow. It makes me feel less lonely  :adorkable:

I often sleep for nine hours while laying down on my chest. I don't really like sleeping on my back.

My sleeping pattern varies, but when I do fall asleep, I am usually on my side, I switch sides a few times before actually falling asleep. Surprisingly, I usually do not have much trouble sleeping and I usually sleep at lest 8 hours or so, but if my anxiety is going really bad, then I may not be able to sleep at first.

I usually sleep on my stomach and sometimes on my side. I always sleep in bed with a pretty flat pillow since it's much better when you're sleeping on your stomach like I do. Sadly I rarely ever get enough sleep but I try to catch up with the time I lost during certain nights. I tend to sleep naked, sometimes in underwear but I put on a pajamas or something when it's a bit cold (:

dem statistics tho

On either side, with an extra mini-blanket, and an army of stuffed animals that it would be cruel to get rid of watching me/buried in the cracks between the wall and my bed.

I sleep far too much and need to cut it to 9 hours max. I hear 7 is the new 8 though.

I sleep on my stomach with the covers pulled over my head, though I leave an open space for the lower half of my face so I can breathe.
