I can't really tell you what the titles for the episodes are, but I'd suggest you wait until they're officially announced. I can't tell you how many times I've seen various posts "leak" the titles and details for the next season and they'd be WAY off the mark.

I'm hopeful that they will really address the implications or whatever of her being an alicorn. They're at least acknowledging in that clip that an alicorn baby is a big deal! My biggest fear for the baby being an alicorn was that they would be like Princess Cadance where they just march her out without a bit of explanation. (BTW her story is told in one the novels by GM Berrow, this episode would be a good time to canonize that story)

I don't want to sound cynical, but before they give a good explanation about alicorns, Princess Flurry Heart will rather save Celestia's helpless flank from a Diamond Dog Chieftain.

I'm actually glad that this time they made this baby ACTUALLY look like they belong to both of them, unlike the Cake babies. The resemblance is easy to pick up at first glance too

So much for Starlight as the mane seventh. This definitely gives us some notion of her status now. 

If Starlight had become the seventh then I think I would have resign myself from watching the show :/ She is so mean >.<

I'm annoyed at a few things...

 

MLP never was really more than a series of 20 minute ads in the heads of it's owners. That is okay, as long as the creative team has full reign to tell a story and create the world on which this story happens as part of a cohesive universe. When you do this, you have a good cartoon and all you need to do is make the products you'retrying to sell after the cartoon, instead of the other way around. Or at the least you need the teams involved in the creation of the product and the teams involved in the creation of the cartoon to talk to each other. A cartoon, that in my opinion does this right is SW: Rebels. Sure, it's unorthodox in some of it's designs, but these new designs can coexist with the universe they are in.

 

When I first saw the clip I didn't know if the Mane Six were shocked that the baby is an alicorn or if they were shocked that it looks like the Equestrian equivalent to Arnold's baby in Junior. That baby looks weird. If they changed the "baby design" to having big eyes and that is all, I would've been fine with it. After all, big eyes is one of the things people usually agree makes things cute. But with those big wings and big horn, too big in proportion, it looks like it's deformed and that someone is trying too hard.

 

Another thing is that I'm annoyed it was born an alicorn. Because I thought that the idea of alicorns earning their position was a great one. I don't think I need to go into details why I think that. Before anyone says... Find me the actual quote in the Journal that specifically says Celestia and Luna were born alicorns.

 

I hope to Celestia that somepony will say something like "Oh... This is a side-effect of being born to an alicorn mother... She'll lose those at some time and have normal wings/horn." Now I know that the likelihood of this actually happening is minimal... But let me dream. I'm actually guessing that this baby is not the real one, it's a changeling. Not the changelings from Canterlot Wedding, the real changelings from myth. The ones that kidnap babies from royalty and substitute with their own, so that they'll feed from the parents' love. But I'm probably putting too much stock in the writers with this theory, and the fact that changelings already appeared in the show.

 

And finally... If that was the kind of design this cartoon started with, this cartoon wouldn't have the following it has today. That makes me think that there is more to this baby than we know.

If I'm being honest I don't have a problem with the color of the baby or it's hair color in fact I think they look pretty cool. But oh my god the wings are so disproportionate and it's eyes are ridiculously huge!
