Hello! Just hangin' around and suddenly something came to my mind.We need a CAR thread!!!

 

As you may know I'm very fond of Mazda miatas! (look at my avatar!) so here's one down.

 

Anypony, just pick your favs! either one car or many and It doesn't matter if you can't drive or play racing games, everypony loves cars right!

I like many cars, picking my favorite is almost impossible. Though I really like Japanese cars, my favorite car would definitely be my Subaru Impreza. Like them wagons, especially the Impala 62, keep it clean and mean.

Oh I've also gotten quite a lot into the Toyota Soarer, nice drift car essentially the same as the Supra just a bit heavier.

So yeah, I like almost all Japanese cars and American as well. 

Really like Mazdas too, the RX7 you know, as I say picking a favorite is impossible. I find that all cars offer something on the table, you want to experience all of it. Why I like almost everything, hot hatches, trucks and the list goes on.

My favorite truck is definitely the Dodge Ram first generation with the cummins, really cool trucks in my opinion.

 

Though, my favorite "unachievable" car if you will is the Lamborghini Aventador. One of those cars you just fall in love with.

Big fan right here if you couldn't tell. I even got a Soarer t-shirt.

Been tryna get the U.S. version of the JZZ31, the Lexus SC300, but I haven't had much luck. Had two really nice ones sold out from underneath me. Kinda shitty...

 

I'm also a big fan of the BNR32 Skyline GT-Rs, Mitsubishi Starions/Chrysler Conquests, the new Subaru WRX STis, Dodge Sweptside pickup trucks, 1960 Lincoln Continentals, virtually any Kei car, and really just a whole helluva lot of other stuff.

 

Like y'all said, it's hard to pick just one.

@, Kei cars are cool, I know it doesn't count as one but the Toyota 800 has peaked my interest it's small like a kei car but isn't one. Mitsubishi Starion is on my list as well, although I often find myself comparing it to the RX7. Still wish you luck on finding a Soarer, probably not many willing to sell it. I know I wouldn't.

I've always found it difficult choosing between the GTR's however I find the first generation to be the best looking one. Of course that's just my taste but the R32 is great.

 

The first generation just looks mean.

Right, I have two favorite cars of note...

 

Landrover Defender, 90, 100, 110, I don't care. they're all pretty good.

 

And the MG Midget 1500, which I am proud to say I actually own.

It's just not road worthy yet.

 

 

Here's what it looks like at the moment. Only needs a couple things replacing, a quick coat of paint and a clean. Sorry for the poor quality image, and the equally messy garage it's in.

I am by no means an expert when it comes to cars, so i'm not familiar with a lot of names and models.

But I find myself really liking 2013 camaros. I just really like how they look!

Ugh, why must you make me choose... 

 

Geez, I can't ever decide. There's a few at the top of my list.

• C7 Corvette - I've never been a huge fan of the 'Vette, but there's something about the 7th generation car that makes it look timeless. The look is still classic Corvette, but it's just drop dead gorgeous. 
• 

• Nissan GT-R - No, not the old Skylines everyone thinks of. I mean Godzilla, the twin turbo V6 that at one point held the record on the Nurburgring. Great looks, whole lot of power, and still gets 20 miles to the gallon.
• 

• 1970 1/2 Camaro - There's just something about the simple yet elegant look of the early 2nd generation Camaros that I really dig, especially when it's wearing dual headlights and shorter bumperettes.
• 

• 1968-72 Pontiac GTO - Honestly, I'd take any GM A-Body from this era (Chevrolet Chevelle, Buick Skylark/GS, Oldsmobile Cutlass/442), but the Poncho is definitely on top of the others. The classic go-to car that started the muscle car phenomenon, they aren't exactly slouches either.
• 

• 1970-71 Dodge Challenger/Plymouth Barracuda - One word: HEMI. 'Nuff said.
• 

• 1970-72 Ford Torino - Most of these are "wolves in sheep's clothing." Very low-key cars, clean in appearance, but pack quite a punch. That, and you could get it as a pickup too.
• 

• 1968-74 Plymouth Road Runner - See Challenger/Barracuda.
• 

• 1967-72 Chevrolet/GMC C10 - They're just great looking old trucks, and make excellent hot rods, if you stuff the right equipment under the hood.
• 

• 1968-74 AMC AMX/Javelin - They're muscle cars made by a small-time auto maker in Kenosha, Wisconsin. You don't see too many of them anymore, and in general they're pretty cool.

Or, Idunno, I just really like it. xD  I see the appeal of all Beetles, but it's the older models that really secured the VW Bug as my favorite vehicle.

I'm probably the biggest car expert and enthusiast you'll ever meet! Ever since I got hooked onto racing games, I discovered the best car models of all time.

 

I am a huge fan of small and sporty hatchbacks, like Mini Coopers.

 

 

 

I'm also in love with European super cars, like the Ferrari 458 Italia and the McLaren 650s.

 

 

 

Oh yes, don't forget that I also love both modern and classic American muscle cars, like the 2015 Ford mustang and the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.

 

 

 

I also dig Japanese tuners, like the Toyota Supra and the Mazda RX-7.

Yeah, I feel you. Sucks that they had to stop manufacturing these beasts in 2014. Not to mention that they stopped manufacturing Ford Falcons altogether.

the lack of classic British cars in here makes me sad.

It's all about the Triumphs baby! My Dad has a TR6 and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally want one for myself one day. I grew up around TRs and the 6 is the best! We also had a TR2 until about 2006.

This one here might be my favorite, the Mercedes Benz SLS GT3. 

 

I am not completely sure why I like this vehicle, could be the body and how it is designed, it looks really nice. :3
