Head Fanon: As Will Guide, I've been renting out a room in Friendship Castle and been giving Spike a extra "hand" in keeping the place clean. I was helping Spike with his bathroom routine when Starlight Glimmer came in, looking for the library.

Is it just me, or did this season REALLY sneak up on us?  I mean, it's only been about 4 months since we had new pony, how weird is that?

 

Anyways, I'm digging this episode right now.  The focus on Starlight's already proving fun to follow, plus Spike got to offer some advice to someone besides Twilight, that's cool!

I really like Spike's characterization here and his interaction with Starlight. You can tell he views her as a friend and wants to help her any way he can. Could be his best characterization of the show, if it all goes well.

Starlight and Twilight look alot alike. Both purple, both have a stripe in their mane, both unicorns. Both names mean pretty much the same thing. Hmmmmm.
