Who is everyponies favorite cybertronian?  Why?  Just curious.

My all-time favorite is Optimus Prime (cliche, I know, but hey.)  Definitely my role model, though I feel more like Grimlock most days.

I had a megatron tank toy that was my favorite as a kid

I still have it on my shelf in my closet in my bedroom in my parents house lol

Nice, a buddy of mine had that one.

I think I've still got a bunch more. I never really watched the show though

Worth watching, especially for anyone who grew up late 80s early 90s. Early animation is iffy, though. The comics are pretty decent as well.

Is it just Generation 1, or can we choose from the others?

Blaster was always my favorite from Gen 1, I always wanted his figure, but my favorite over all is Dinobot from Beast Wars.  I loved everything about hims <3

Agreed, Dinobot from Beast Wars was a fantastic character with a pretty powerful last scene.

I can pretty much quote Megas word for word here.  When the G1 cartoon first aired in 1984, Soundwave made a big impression on me.  Everything he did from the way he fought to the way he talked seemed so cool.  He was totally devoted to the Decepticon cause, unlike Starscream who only seemed to look out for himself.  Of course, I later saw that Soundwave was secretly a self-serving opportunist as well.  He was just a lot more sneaky about it. I still admire him though.
