Cosplay!

I adore cosplay, and looking at cosplay.

I should be working on some of mine, but I'm being lazy.

Do you like cosplay?

Do you cosplay?

I love cosplay! I only did it once, but I can't wait to do it again in the future.

Me and my friend were chilling in downtown, I was the 8th Doctor and he was the 10th. We had a lot of fun chilling with whovians, but I never watched Doctor Who so all the references about bowties and jelly babies went over my head.

I did a TERRIBLE fluttershy cosplay about 18 months ago.  The wig saw just awful.  However, I commissioned an angel bunny plushie and pinned it to my shoulder and tons of people commented on that.

It was pretty fun, but I felt somewhat bad about the quality once I saw what others were wearing.

Thinking about hiring someone to make some of the more difficult pieces for my next one.

I dress up all the time. I rarely do anything other than my own characters though. For BABSCon I did an actual cosplay of Starswirl the Bearded, though. :)

I'd ask to see it, but I'm deathly afraid of people asking to see my fluttershy cosplay.

I would like to see your cosplay! I did a god awful Princess Cadance cosplay. Paint spilled all over my pink corset and one of the kids I was babysitting snapped her tiara a few days before the con. Had to make due with nonsense I had laying around.

I went to comic con in Glasgow last year as a Warhammer 40K Imperial Guard Commissar.  First time cosplaying, and I shall likely do so again this year.

On many occasions prior to the day (and indeed on the day itself) I came close to bottling out through nerves, but I'm glad I went through with it in the end, it was very well received, lots of people asking for photos with me.  I had a lot of fun so it was all worth it.

I lack the skills necessary to scratch build a costume, the leather trenchcoat for example is way beyond me.  But I did quite a bit of work adapting some of the accessories to look the part, and even finding and combining all of the many pieces for the outfit was work in itself, so I don't feel inadequate for not making the whole thing.

Lots of people were taking pictures of me in it, but I can't find any online yet. I managed to get a 'Judges Choice' from Kara Kosicka when they did the whole Cosplay Contest which was cool.

I've been doing costuming forever at non-Pony cons, and I have to say the costume contest at BABSCon this year had an energy, enthusiasm, and sheer number and quality of entries that blew the regional costume cons for the last few years out of the water.

I like to look at other people's cosplays, but I don't think I'd ever do it myself.

Actually, I might do it if I was wearing a costume that covered me completely... a full suit of armor, spacesuit, or something of that nature.

I'd never do an MLP cosplay though. That would be a terrifying sight to behold.

Oh man! Once you find a pic I'd love to see it!

I love MLP cosplay!

I really enjoy cosplay. I've had a Sailor Neptune cosplay in the works for far too long but I've been cosplaying as Rarity at BronyCon for the past two years and plan to do the same this year as well :) My best friend dresses as Pinkie Pie and my brother is always Vinyl Scratch; it's a TON of fun!

I love cosplay and I enjoy cosplaying as well.

I've cosplayed for about 5 years and the only cosplays I've done are:

- Naruto Uzumaki's Shippuden outfit

- Naruto Six Paths Sage Mode

- Madara Uchiha

I'm currently working on trying to put together a cosplay of Wes from Pokemon Colosseum.

Literally just posted this in another topic but might as well again for this topic.

I'm going with this for BronyCon 2016, and it's going to be the first time for me to cosplay seriously.

(screwing around in Halloween doesn't count in my case)

I really like the concept of cosplay, it could be a form of self expression, or simply to show one's appreciation for a character.

I have yet to try it out...I'm not sure what my friends and family will think of me dressing up on not-Halloween, and I don't really know whom to dress up as.
