Things I'd like to see in the future!

I'm sure other's have discussed what they'd like to see in future episodes. I'd really like to know more about the 8 magical items that were referenced in the episode where they meet Starlight Glimmer. I'd also kind of like to know more about what's beyond Equestria.

I want to know if Mage Meadowbrook was real, and acted as a rival to Starswirl

Beyond Equestria is also something i wanna see, Neighpon, Japony, maybe?

 

And i want to see more past gen chara. Introductions. Starsong, Star Catcher, Kimono, and Toola Roola, from g3, Surprise and The Flutter ponies from G1

 

And J-rock tributes. Even small ones. We had Pinkie rap, why not just have her do some spontaneous J-rock, in Japonies and everything?

Also, where the heck is Maretopia and Mustangia? When they've been mentioned it's implied they're fairly significantly sized, yet they don't show up anywhere on the 'official' maps.

After Meadowbroke's 8 ancient magical items in The Cutie Map, I was a little disappointed that we haven't seen anything about them yet.

I would love to actually learn about what they are and who Meadowbroke was.  It could make for great lore.

Could I ask for the EOH to be referenced again? They've kind of been kicked out the door and forgotten since S4.

And There IS the map, but the map is UTTERLY pointless without any real reason to exist except for WOW quests more or less: its only real "thing" that it did was get starlight reformed, and that's a pretty shitty reason to exist. (And honestly, given how the meta-plot for this season is Starlight's reformation, I'm not expecting the map to do anything important this season either)

I don't really mind them keeping the map as long as it gives them something worthwhile to do.

 

I'm hoping for a map episode that takes the good parts of Griffonstone and Made In Manehattan, having a solid story to tell like Griffonstone while letting both of the characters be heavily involved with fixing the problem like Made in Manehattan(Griffonstone was mostly Pinkie's work but the problem involved Rainbow fixing her friendship with Gilda, so I can forgive it). Fluttershy was damn near pointless until literally the very end while in turn making Twilight ineffectual for the entire thing. Please don't make the same mistakes The Hoofields and The McColts did

 

Since I heard Daring Do is supposed to come back this season, I'm gonna speculate that Rainbow and Twilight are gonna have a Map episode together involving them helping Daring Do with something

I want to see more about the zebras. I mean, it can't be serious that Zecora is the only one who lives in Equestria. And I wish to see where she comes from and why she leaves her old home. I also want to see something about bat ponies. And of course a background story for Tia, Luna and Cadence. That would be really interesting for me.

I'd definitely enjoy an episode focused primarily on Luna and Celestia. More sisterly interaction!

 

Much more Princess Cadance would be something I would appreciate as well. 

 

I've also been wanting to see Lightning Dust return for a while now, perhaps for a redemption arc.

Could we get some more adventure episodes with rainbow dash, thinking about it?
her part of the theme song IS "Big adventures", and she's incredibly gung ho and well suited to adventure episodes, and yet she's probably one of the least used for adventure episodes, ironically enough. (The one who gets the most adventure episodes would be Twilight, hands down, even taking out two parters, with stuff like the tatzlwurm in three's a crowd)

 

I mean, one of her heroes is an adventurer after all (Daring do) and it would work well with her personality.

Sadly, Pony Life didn't make Princess Celestia any fun. I would have watched more if they had brought in the princesses, but no, they keep failing because they cannot read TV ratings?
