My favorite background ponies is Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon (Sweetie Drops) that finally talks in "Slice of Life" episode. Vinyl Scratch and Octavia with music and symphony. Minuette (Colgate), Twinkleshine, and Lemon Hearts are in Canterlot section as they finally talked in "Amending Fences".

I don't really care much for background ponies, but Doctor Whooves grew on me due to his official debut in Slice of Life, despite not watching Doctor Who. XD

Don't get me wrong, I love the personalities of the popular background ponies, but I'll have to say Sprinkle Medley is my favorite background pony.

Thanks to the Doctor this choice got a lot harder. Normally my favorite of the background lot were Octavia and Vinyl, but I LOVED the Doctor's personality.
