Why Are Pegesi Royal Guard Members More Frequent ?

We've seen all three races as Guards, or at least in similar armor fulfilling an official capacity.

There are other race guards, but they are seen less frequently than pegasi. But pegasi are just more profficient in jobs like this, Equestria is divided by castes after all, and earth ponies are usually farmers, unicorns are scholars and high class, and pegasi are suitable to take jobs like weather controlling ofc, but also being a guard or policeman. At least it looks like this.

I think you should rephrase the question as to why the majority are pegusai. And to answer that, I'd say for mobility reasons. They can travel over buildings and overall are better sentries (as an eyes in the sky sort of thing). Obviously, Unicorns and Earth Ponies have their magic and strength, but flyers serve best as a majority I'd think from what I said.

Besides, Equestria is built on the foundation of the joining between all three species.

Since most royal guard appearances requires them to use wings, it makes sense that most of the royal guards shown are pegasi, though unicorns are semi frequent too. Since earth ponies are about strength that is not necessary plotwise, makes sense that earth ponies royal guards are rarely shown

Well, there are all three races as guards. But pegasi are probably more frequent because, aside from wings being useful, they've been shown to be more militant in general. In the Hearth's Warming episode, for instance, their main leader is a military commander.

A couple of things working together:

1) Pegasi are shown to have come from a more militaristic culture originally before the three tribes combined. There's very likely some leftovers from that still around, especially in enforced pegasi-only regions like Cloudsdale, leading to a high pegasi recruitment rate. It's interesting to note that the other two major flight-based cultures: Gryphons and Dragons, also give the impression of being very aggressive.

2) I would expect to see more pegasi around as they would have the higher mobility and therefore appear more common. Basically while a unicorn or earth pony could patrol 'x' volume of space, a pegasi could probably patrol 3x volume of space, and therefore appear to be around 3x as often.

3) We only recognize them as guards when they are wearing what appears to be their ceremonial dress armor. The Wonderbolts are supposedly an off-shoot of the same organization the Guard developed from, but they don't wear the same uniforms. It's very likely there are other Guard units that have different uniforms that we aren't recognizing in that way.

To add to the others, there is one more thing to consider - The Royal Guard, as the name might suggest, aren't necessarily the regular army or police force of Equestria. As the name suggests, one of their primary functions would be escorting and guarding Royalty, aka the Princesses - Celestia especially, since until recently she was the only one around.

And since Celestia tends to travel by air (Luna and Twilight as well it seems), be it in a flying chariot or under her own power, it makes sense that majority of the Royal Guard are actually capable of performing their duty once the princess takes to the skies, meaning having flight of their own.
