Here are the emblems I created so far (none which are MLP, unfourtunately), even though they're not perfect, IMO:

Puerto Rico flag emblem:

Portal 2 emblem:

IMG-20121216-00003_zps6635a7b3.jpg]

Sonic the Hedgehog emblem:

IMG-20121216-00004_zps81eca770.jpg

MW2 Spetsnaz emblem:

IMG-20121216-00005_zps0dc2d571.jpg

Helghast emblem:

IMG-20121216-00006_zpsef907e9c.jpg

Umbrella Corporation emblem:

IMG-20121216-00007_zps9f30d0e2.jpg

Those are some pretty sweet emblems ;).It took a while, but I decided to make mine the Deathly Hallows symbol from Harry Potter :P. It's actually extremely, if not identical to it, but then again, how hard could it be to make a symbol which is made of a circle inside a triangle with a stick going through the middle :P? It does go well with mah Nuclear title, though :).

Anyways, here are mah classes. As you can see, I have a high K/D but at the cost of a poopy W/L and a rather low SPM :(. It's hard to do well in BOII, especially when rushing and going for the objective on Domination, which I play the most since it's the most fast paced and has the most logical spawns of the major gamemodes, them being Kill Confirmed, TDM, and Domination. I usually try to be more cautious when playing this game, hence the low SPM, and I tend to die a lot when on the objective, hence the poopy W/L, although I certainly don't camp. The first two classes are mah most used; the mighty MTAR (As some of you know, I used to be called TARmighty21, named after this gun :P) and the M8A1, the best burst-fire I've ever used in CoD. The name for the M8A1 class stems from the fact that this gun is very good, and I mean, VERY good at killing campers who headglitch nonstop behind cover, especially when paired with Toughness :).

boiiclasses1.png

These next classes are also highly used, mainly because all of them are weapons with high fire rates, and I like weapons with high fire rates; as long as they're not OP ;).

boiiclasses2.png

Last, there's these weapons. which are also useful but not as much as the others. I have a good trigger finger on the SMR, but I prefer to use it on bigger maps like Carrier or Turbine, although some smaller maps can work surprisingly well. The SWAT class is weird since Select Fire is one of the worst choices on this weapon. However, I'm very used to the high recoil from the F2000 in MW2, so Select Fire ain't that bad for me :). It's actually pretty good sometimes, or at least for me.

boiiclasses3.png

Two universal things I have with all these classes is that I use Blind Eye and Toughness with them. Flinch from getting shot is ridiculously bad in this game IMO, so Toughness helps a ton, plus Blind Eye helps prevent them Hunter Killers from getting me, since Flak Jacket ain't enough ;).

Thanks! I'll see if I can make more emblems for the time being, but for now, I'll have to try and not stray away Black Ops II TOO much, since I'm quite busy playing PS3 games that are for free. :P

Note to other players, familiar with the term "Once you go black, you won't go back."? Well that applies with me and Hardcore Mode, though I tried going back and it just became crap when I played.

FAL OSW is a great choice for Hardcore Mode too by the way.

Have decided to try out Hardpoint. I'm starting to like it more than Domination. It's more fast-paced, and the spawns make a tad bit more sense. Plus, the teammates seem to go for the objective more in this gamemode, so maybe mah poor W/L will start getting better. I'm also surprised at how accurate I am with some weapons :P, especially the Skorpion EVO. That gun has high recoil, and most people I see have, like, 18-20% accuracy, but mine on the Skorpion is 25% :o. I also have 29% accuracy on the M8A1, 25% on the SWAT, which I mainly use full-auto, and that thing kicks hard, and I mean HARD when full-auto. Something about mah aim in this CoD has made it the best in any CoD I've played in .

Not to blow my own horn or anything...

But you know you've got good aim when people start accusing you of using an aimbot. :P

As of late my favorite weapon has been the MTAR w/ quickdraw + stock + laser sight. Strange attachment combo, I know, but it makes the gun perfect for any situation, be it quick aiming and strafing while ADS, to accurate hipfiring.

So far, that hasn't happened to me at all during mah time on Black Ops II :P. Also, speaking of accuracy, here is the stats for the weapons I use in mah class; K/D, headshots, times killed by, accuracy.

I'm really glad Black Ops 2 isn't another case of 'Same Shit, Different Year'. It's pretty freaking bad ass so far. I think Activision and Treyarch really did it this time. :D

Just be sure that you don't get killed too many times by players (not fromt he forums) who had too much Red Bull. I've had a lot of players kill me WAY too many times since they got high sensitivity level or they had too much Red Bull or Monster Energy Drink lately.

Anyone listened to the soundtrack to Black Ops 2?

And can anyone recommend a good sniper rifle and attachments for multiplayer?

I haven't gotten around to listening to the soundtrack yet, I'm really bad at that. I still haven't downloaded the zombies soundtrack from Blops 1.

As for snipers, I think all are good except the SVU. The DSR is a good bolt action, but I prefer the Ballista. The XPR is the only good semi-auto and the closest thing to a Barrett in this game.

For attachments, I generally use Ballistics CPU and either Extended Mags or FMJ, Though I haven't really tried the others.

Hope this helped.

Yes, it does :) I'll try it out on local play sometime. I find that local play with regular bots is a great way to practice.

Thanks for that ^_^

Okay, here comes Mister I Hate COD lololol.

I have completed the campaign, played a bit of multiplayer (still only okay at it, like in all CODs), and played several rounds of Zombies. I will now post my thought-out review.

  • Campaign. The campaign in this game was a very mixed bag, On one hand, we had the best plotline since thethe original Modern Warfare and the inclusion of choices and strike missions, which were a definitive plus. However, the actual gameplay through it was pretty repetitive. Run into a room, kill everyone, run into the next and kill everyone, and so on (with the exception of the dubstep-rave party slow-mo low gravity strobe light dancefloor shootout, that was fuckin' badass and exactly why the inner teenager in me still has faith in COD). It's like the opposite of MW3. MW3 had an absolutely ridiculous and laughable storyline and continuity but it brought many different aspects of combat and locations into the mix that kept the fighting fresh. Anyway, I'll give the campaign a 8.5 out of 10 because I really like the antagonist and his development as well as the story's progression and new aspects.

  • Multiplayer. This is my biggest "if" about it. The multiplayer's class system is completely redone, and definitely for he better. This allows for much more in depth player and play style customization which is what COD multiplayer is all about. But there is where my praise really ends. The gameplay is noticeably identical to any other COD game. it's the same run-in-circles and point-and-shoot tactics that, after 5 years straight, get pretty old. Next, the balancing is still an issue with many of the lower-level guns to be massively inferior to the higher-level ones. The maps aren't really much and I always find myself dying in 1 shot by snipers in every single game. On top of that, the entire community uses the same select few guns that are dominant over all the rest in the game. I still have more multiplayer to play before I can make an "official" judgement but for right now it is just a 6/10, only for the create-a-class innovation.

  • Zombies. Tried and true, but endlessly entertaining. Not much to say here. I mean, it's the same thing as before but in truth that's all I (and you) wanted. TraZit is a really cool addition. All of the zombie maps seem very small and cramped to me though. Grief is unnecessary and not entertaining. I feel like they should have done just a little bit to innovate Zombies however, but for that I'll give it a 9/10.

Planning on picking up Black Ops 2 tomorrow sometime. I'm hoping I enjoy it. I should definitely like the zombies, hopefully the multiplayer too. I wasn't a huge fan of the campaign of MW3 so i'm hoping this one is better.

Interesting thing about Zombies is that Green Run is actually THE map itself. Like, all the other selectable places, which Bus Depot, Town, and Farm are only just sections of Green Run. So really, the only way to play the map to it's full extent is to play TranZit. I also really like Grief since I can usually get better stuff in that gamemode, since there are 7 other players to help me as opposed to 3. Plus, I like dicking around with the other team and such. TranZit is hellah fun for me, especially when I am able to get on top of the bus.

Since Green Run is the map itself, this leads me to believe that whatever map is released with the first DLC will also be a huge-ass one like Green Run with smaller subsections to play on :o. Talk about expanding Zombies :P. Hell, Nacht der Untoten is an easter egg on TranZit (Hidden in the cornfield), and it's amazing to think that the first Zombie map ever is just a teeny tiny part of this huge map, which is Green Run.

I agree with the underlined stuff and disagree with the bold stuff.

Yes, it's old. But it works, right? Still rakes in money. Why fix it?

Not true, you can still destroy with the Type 25 (one of the first assault rifles) or really any of the "lower" guns. It all comes down to player skill.

Snipers will use snipers on any map, even the close quarter ones. "Quick-scoping" and "No-scoping" will always exist. Some of the maps are unbalanced though, I agree.

Yes everyone will use the same guns...There really isn't THAT many to chose from...That is an advantage, however, if you use some of the lesser played guns and bring their true potentials to the field. Like, say, The Executioner. "Weak and stupid" gun? Ha!

Just my two cents though. I think it's an improvement over the last few CoDs. I cant judge it yet though, haven't done the campaign.

I can think of one.

Drone_Load_Screen_BOII.png

I wouldn't mind Drone if there wasn't such a huuuuge sniper sight-line that cuts down strait through the middle. I mean, I know a lot of maps have these middle pathways that are high chokepoints, but the one on Drone is so heavily camped by snipers on each end of the middle section that it's practically suicide to even go down through this one huge section of the map, thus makes it play a lot slower than the other ones.

Out of all the maps in Black Ops II, Drone is probably the worst for me. Other close contenders are Aftermath, Turbine, Yemen, Hijacked, and Nuketown 2025. Aftermath is just a mess (Same with Turbine), while the other 3 all suffer from worse-than-normal spawns, and that's saying something compared to the crap spawns I've had to deal with in BOII. It's a shame, since Nuketown and Hijacked could've been a hellah lot of fun for me but they screwed up spawns even worse here. And I noticed that the original Nuketown from Black Ops I had a lot more consistent good spawns than Nuketown 2025. So some of these maps would play much better if the spawn system was more like Black Ops I than MW3.

The best maps for me are Carrier, Slums, Raid, Meltdown, and maybe Plaza. Carrier is basically a boxed-in version of Turbine. It has a lot of medium-long sightlines which make it a popular sniping map but it's also very small in size. This makes it just good enough that I can flank around the map some with a trusty semi-auto like the SMR. Slums and Raid are maps just I've just gotten a good groove for. Raid is more suspectible to the bad spawns, but I still kinda like it. Meltdown is another nice map since the middle sightlines slopes upward making it impossible for people on the other side to really get a kill from anything on the other side of the slope other than the buildings that face it. I'd say this map is awesome because I also have a good amount of fun on Hardpoint in this map. Hardpoint works best on Meltdown and Slums for me, which makes me like them a lot when I play that gamemode. Plaza is an iffy because when I do good, I REALLY do good, but when I do bad, it's particularly painful here. I'd say that if the spawns got a tweaking here, this map would be pretty damn good for me.

Yeah I fear that. I do absolutely not want that.

Why?

Because that would mean another big map with smaller maps you can play alternative game modes on such as survival and grief. And since I dislike TranZit it will be pretty boring because the maps are so fucking small :(

I am very disappointed that they are smaller than the other zombie maps I am used to.. And I am disappointed that they aren't built up the same way with doors to open to get to the new spots :(

As it is for now I prefer zombies in WaW and BO1... I just wanna play my normal survival the same way...Many doors to open..

I just recently picked up this game so now I can join in the discussion here.

First things first, if you want to play I own a PS3, no Xbox 360 version yet, so add BlogBlogLast. The game is a whole lot more fun when you play with friends, and I need more only have one, Doom2053(Kappa214 on  the forums). So yeah you should all add me so we can all play together.

So far my thoughts on the game.

The campaign seems quite alot different, maybe it's just me, but I love how it switches from the past to the present. I also love the little defence missions scattered here and there, where you get to control multiple units. Overall I really am liking the campaign, and love how you get to choose your weapons. (FAL and Olympia all the way!)

The Multiplayer is the same formula basically, same run and gun methods with different maps and different maps. That doesn't mean I don't like it, it's just the same as all of the other COD games out there. I do have to say however, that the class system is completely different and much better than any other COD class system out there. I also like how they returned there creative emblem from Black Ops, so I can make what I want.

Now for the big one, Zombies. I was expecting alot from it. I didn't get all I expected. Sure it's fun, but it's also so hard. The complaints I have are the map sizes. There just to dang small. There not big enough for anything. And then there is Tranzit mode, which is fun, but boring at the same time. I like how they encorparated all of the maps, but not being able to get to certain things is a problem and limited guns is another. Other than those small complaints I still love Zombies.

Overall the game is the same as any COD but still fun in it's own way. I personally still love it.

So, after much raging and thinkin', after realizing that the almighty xcalizorz has a 2 K/D yet a great W/L in BOII, I thought to myself "Wow. Maybe I should sacrifice K/D for the objective :3" and started to play Kill Confirmed, which I used to hate because of it's spawn system. Well, after changing mah classes to all have suppressors on them, I realized that rushing with a suppressor really works well in Kill Confirmed. It's like the spawns were made for rushing :o. Hmmm.......I used to be a bit more slow before, so I'm guessing the spawns are made to encourage rushing.......I dunno, I'll have to check tomorrow to see if this "All suppressor + rushing" playstyle will continue to work. So far, I'm kinda liking it. Usually means more kills, plus the suppressor makes it easier to rush and go for those dogtags in Kill Confirmed :).
