Omygoshomygoshomygoshomygosh ! I'm really glad they took the feedback serious. All the options and stuff you can do.

Even doing a rodeo on a wild horse? I'll lol if there's a horse that resembles a certain orange mare :smug:.

Japan, where Yo-Kai Watch's second movie has more success than The Force Awakens :umad:

Nintendo may have managed to pull it off for me as this is easily my favorite game at E3 so far. It looks absolutely fantastic. I'm loving a lot of the risks they seem to be taking with this

I am extremely looking forward to the game even moreso now.

And it's about time they put voice acting in the game.

Oh Breath of the Wild hunt

Looks amazing, Zelda with more freedom and clear influence from others(seriously that weapons system is straight outta Dark Souls lol)

I'm sure it will come into its own well enough though, and be an amazing game. Can't wait to play it. :D

"You're a legend in the eyes of those who live in Hyrule field. That's why you have to handle this adventure yourself. That's how Zelda would want it. Hyrule is a big place. I expect you to become quite familiar with that Sheikah Slate as you plan your next move. How and where you make it, that's up to you. Now go! And let the legend come back to life!"

The game looks good, but the press conference was unbearable.

I don't know who thought it was a good idea to only show one game during E3. You could tell they were desperately trying to pad out the livestream. Whenever they're not injecting their forced humor in an embarrassing attempt at keeping us entertained, they deliberately slow down and patronizingly explain things that don't need explaining.

You see a guy named William Shakesman once said: "Brevity is the soul of wit." This just means don't waste my time.

I said stop wasting my time. Stop it!

Are you sure there will be voice acting because I've seen the trailer and it just seemed like the voice acting's only in the teaser. Just the 3 minute trailer, and the Wolf Link amiibo trailer are the only ones I've seen (out of the 3 Zelda trailers) on the Nintendo eshop involving this upcoming game so far. Is there a video I'm missing that gives the impression that there's going to be voice-acting? Cause I'm pretty sure it's just in the trailer??? I don't care if there's voice-acting or not? The open-world elements are enough for me to say I'll get it.

Say what you will, but for me the presence of this game alone made this conference much more exciting than the entirety of last year's Nintendo E3 presentation.

It was an odd presentation with only showing two games, but to be blunt, they're two games I'd see before pretty much any game they showed at last year's E3. Although, seeing Pokemon livestreamed isn't that exciting, even though those games look great, too. The new Zelda blew me away enough to make it alone MUCH more exciting than anything shown at last year's E3.

is this WII-U or the next gen console?

It was made for Wii U but there are rumors that it may be released for the NX though that isn't confirmed. It wouldn't be unprecedented as they did release Twilight Princess for both the Gamecube and the Wii.

They already confirmed they held the game release back to get an NX release.

Honestly though... I liked a lot of the elements of the game, but I felt the conference they chose to present it with was rather bland. Not exactly a conference fitting for a Zelda reveal. There were tons of cool ideas there, but not enough was shown to really form a solid opinion for me. I also know that an NX version is in the works so it's hard to get excited for this watered down port.

Was fairly disappointed that the game is going to be in 720p30FPS when I know the Wii U could probably handle 1080 at least. Would love to see an HD Zelda in full HD.

@@Key Sharkz,Acutally, they confirmed both versions will be the same.

...

So... Why are we buying another console then...?

Well that's a disappointment.

Do you have a link to where they said this?

@@Key Sharkz,Sure I do. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/zelda-breath-of-the-wild-on-wii-u-and-nx-will-be-t/1100-6440876/

I hope that the NX would at least run at 1080p, but who knows. It still could, but both games will look the same visually.

This is super disheartening. I am hoping that this is just some PR crap to try to not make Wii U owners feel burned... Otherwise why bother making a new system?

@@Key Sharkz, I'm pretty miffed myself, and I don't wanna buy an entirely new system for a single game.

Still, the NX version could run at 1080p, so I guess it will be better in that regard?

I personally don't care if the game runs at a lower resolution, as long as the game is a fun and enjoyable experience.

If this game can't even run at 1080p (and preferably 60FPS) on the next generation console I kind of see that as "you have like 4 years to develop this and you can't even get it to what Smash Bros. 4 was?" Like I see little to no excuse for this game to run at such a low res in 2017. At that point Microsoft is claiming they are going to hit 4k gaming and Sony possibly too and Nintendo is struggling to even get 720p to run at 30FPS?

I understand graphics and framerates don't make a better game, but in such a big game like this where immersion is going to be a big part of the game it really hurts to run this game on a nice big 55 inch 4K TV and it doesn't even use 1/4 of the TVs capabilities.

It's even more crap when Windwaker HD was 1080p and it looked great.

@@Key Sharkz, I understand where you're coming from, and I'd love for it to run at full 1080p, but I'm guessing they had to cut back on that to compensate for a lot of what they put into the world. If it really is as big as they claim, like it's supposed to be huge, then I can't imagine the game would run very well at a higher resolution.

That doesn't speak well for the NX if it can't handle the game at 1080p...

Can you play it with an actual controller?  If not, then I'm not interested.  And to be honest, I'm not really interested anyway.  The trailer didn't thrill me.  I feel bad saying this, but Zelda doesn't really do it for me anymore.  I was such a massive Zelda fan as a kid, and I still love the classics, but I'm just not interested anymore.  Besides, I don't have a Wii U, and I don't want one, and I'm not buying any future consoles.  I've already decided that I'm gettin' outta the console game game anyway.  But really hope that this new Zelda is good and brings something fresh to the franchise.

You can use a regular controller, yes.

Shame you're gonna pass on this one, though. Me, I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced. I know it's gonna be amazing.
