[PKMN Sun and Moon] Which starter?

So, which starter are you guys gonna pick? Personally Popollio, dunno why the Internet hates him >.< He's so cute! And maybe Rowlet. Not a Litten fan tho.

Well I'm the kind of person who usually picks the starter with the best typing/ stats/ movepool and there's been a lot of rumours going around that Popplio's Final Evolution is gonna be a part-Fairy Type just because it learns the move Disarming Voice. I am aware that this was a similar case with Chespin back in Gen 6 when it learned the move rollout, but it turned out to be a grass/ fighting type. Water/ Fairy would be an awesome type combination to have, considering that the only other pokemon to have his typing is Azuamarill and it cancels out its Steel Type weakness. There's also two other rumours going around that Litten's final evoultion is gonna be a Fire/ Ground type and that Rowletts gonna evolve into some soft of a burrowing owl, but at this point we have to wait and see 

 

Imo, Litten looks like it's gonna evolve into a Fire/ Dark thanks to its black and red colours + the possibilities of what type of cat it's gonna evolve into is something worth noting 

Rowlett on the other hand has a really interesting design being as a grass owl and it's the first grass starter to have a dual typing since Bulbasaur 

Overall, my pick would be between either between Litten or Rowlett

I was torn between Popplio and Rowlet at first but I think  Iwill be choosing Rowlet. I like his design and having a grass/flying type at the very start of the game will be really interesting. I think this will be the first ever Pokemon generation where I do not choose the fire starter on my first playthrough.

Popplio is a huge cutie so it definitely, I'd pick Litten as a second choice.

I'll likely make my final decision after discovering more about the evolutions of the three, but, right now, I'm certainly leaning towards choosing Popplio. As many have already said, it's so cute! Plus, I'd love to see it as a water/fairy type, and I have a soft spot for water types and more unpopular Pokémon (although it seems this little sea lion-looking fella is getting a little more appreciation as of late)! Despite this, I am still not completely certain yet - Rowlet is adorable, and Litten looks cool.

Rowlet, mostly because I like birds. Popplio also has my attention of what happened with oshawott. The internet relentlessly made fun of the poor thing and it ended up having one of the coolest final evolutions for that gen.

When I saw the reveal of the three new starters I would have gone with Litten. However, when I saw Popplio, I knew right then and there he had to be my starter. He looks so cute and awesome and he's definitely going to be my first choice in Sun and Moon. I might choose Litten as a second choice as well.

I am probably going to choose Rowlet due to I love owls so seeing an owl starter made me happy, but I am going to see what their evolution forms look like before I make a final decision.

It's between Rowlet or Litten for the starters I would choose, but I would want to see the evolutions and abilities first before saying who is the pokemon that will accompany me on my adventure.

Out of the tree startes, I'll choose Popplio. The Pokemon strangely reminds me of the Performapals from Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V.
