Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,440 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 My suggestion is white noise of some kind, or a noise that relaxes you. So perhaps and app on a mobile device that can play a white noise in the background while you sleep. Something like that, could be white noise, could be the sound of rain falling, whatever works. Have that up loud enough, preferably without headphones and that could work. It does depend on if the other person can hear in but in my experience if a snoring friend would stay over for the night, they never would wake up because of that noise.
cmarston1 5,959 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 Wear headphones or something. Or just try not to sleep in the same room as a snorer. Or give them some snore relief medicine.
Ethan Tran 950 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 not all people can sleep with white noise or music etc. and i'm not talking only about you, but about snoring person too. maybe it's your elder relative, family or whatever. and you tried to sleep with headphones? it's uncomfy for some people too. so, what to do then in that kind of situation? -just tell snoring person, to turn on it's side. it really helps. if not, well then brace yourself and try to sleep anyway.. or go somewhere else, then when you get really tired you'll sleep with or without snoring person next to you. Guest October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 Don't. Lol. Though if it's a must, try something to cover the noise with, that's the best tip I can give, not experienced with this.
Leave a Whisper 703 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 (edited) Head phones or earplugs. put masking tape on his or her mouth That's really funny! But a bad idea. Some snorers do suffer from sleep apnea. Edited October 7, 2016 by Leave a Whisper
Luminance 2,186 October 7, 2016 Share October 7, 2016 You can tell he/she to try a different pillow or change their head position.
Dreambiscuit 9,691 October 8, 2016 Share October 8, 2016 I only sleep with a big plush Panda, so no snoring there. But if I did sleep with a snorer, I'd give that person a mouthguard, which is like the protective mouth piece worn by boxers, only they're made for snorers. It doesn't inhibit breathing and it props the mouth open just enough to allow smoother passage of air. My brother used to be a big snorer, and he says this helped him immensely.
Lucky Bolt 35,063 April 27, 2019 Share April 27, 2019 (edited) Doom them to the couch. Or I suppose there's always ear plugs...I dunno. Hopefully I never have to sleep with a snorer. Edited April 27, 2019 by Lucky Bolt ☆ My socials ☆
Sunset Rose 254 April 27, 2019 Share April 27, 2019 My husband snores, he uses these strips over the bridge of his nose that help reduce the snoring somehow. I don't know how they work but they do. Which is great because some nights I don't mind the snoring, but others it makes it really hard to stay asleep.

Dashy 4 Ever 4,835 April 27, 2019 Share April 27, 2019 Knock yourself out. Don't worry, I'm joking. Maybe giving them lectures on snoring or just plug your ears with something. Tell me this isn't the cutest thing you've seen all day?
The Kaeya Simp 13,988 April 27, 2019 Share April 27, 2019 I sleep in another room, maybe because my mum snores louder than my laptop gets, even if I had to sleep on the floor that is preferable... although if it was my partner that snored I'd just get drunk before bed
Here No Longer 5,276 April 27, 2019 Share April 27, 2019 Well I was able to get used to it sleeping with my partner during our meetups, dates, whatever you want to call them. He snores fairly loudly, but I felt enough at ease to sleep anyways. But I guess my advice would be to use headphones or ear buds to try to block it out. EpicEnergy 23,218 December 26, 2019 Share December 26, 2019 I either put in ear plugs or hope that I fall asleep before that person does. *totally not up to any shenanigans*
Lucky Bolt 35,063 December 26, 2019 Share December 26, 2019 I don’t lol. I’d just move to another room or make them move. 1 ☆ My socials ☆
Splashee 28,563 December 26, 2019 Share December 26, 2019 Sadly, you don't sleep. You either wake them up and try to explain to them, just to hear more snoring later. Basically, move to another room.

Dreambiscuit 9,691 October 9 Share October 9 As I mentioned in a previous post, a mouth guard for the snorer can alleviate the noise. Otherwise I’d suggest soft earplugs or some white noise like a loud fan or a white noise machine, which I often use when I travel. Or, you could simply embrace the joyous noise, knowing that someone you love is getting some good nourishing snooze.
DubWolf 17,262 October 9 Share October 9 (edited) It’s only a factor if I can’t fall asleep, but that would likely be due to my mind being under too much deep thought, or my bed ain’t comfy. I can sleep with a snorer usually well. It’s a low pitched noise. Edited October 9 by DubWolf Sig by Wolf, Handwriting by SparklingSwirls
Blizzard Wizard 4,959 October 9 Share October 9 Oh, I have something to share, yes. Younger pet rat of my wife is terrible snorer. Have you ever heard how rat does snore?! I feel sorry for him and laughing so badly so feeling guilt at the same time. Nasal drops are helping for a while.
