I'm just about to. Normally I would wait since usually when an episode has been leaked it was a few days to a week early at most, but it's only been a few days and already avoiding spoilers has been next to impossible. So, if people are going to spoil the episode for me anyway, I might as well get it over with.

I decided to watch the finale because I knew that it would be impossible to avoid spoilers. I was able to avoid Legend of Everfree spoilers because I wanted to wait for it to be proper released, but the season finale proved too difficult to try and avoid.

I'll admit, I watched the finale myself, but I feel that after all the excitement of seeing the Royal Family help save the Crystal Empire in The Crystalling, having them kidnapped so they could not interfere in Chrysalis' new invasion plot was a cheap shot at making them the victims again like in previous season premieres/finales. At least once they were free and Chrysalis' throne was wrecked, disarming its magic-interruption feed, they were ready to tear her apart in revenge for what she put them through.

 

Shame she escaped, but if she ever tries to imprison any of them, even Celestia, in a cocoon again, I'll see to it that she rots in Tartarus for the rest of her life.

Yeah, I did. I wanted to wait and watch it all in order, but there were too many spoilers. After having both the main characters and the main villain spoiled, I figured it would be best to just watch it.

 

 It was really good in my opinion, but I'm kind of annoyed. Seems like most people didn't make even the slightest attempt to not spoil stuff, as it was all over the place.

I couldn't resist watching it as I probably would have come across some kind of spoiler in the next few weeks.

 

I think this is the first finale I don't have any real complaints about. I certainly enjoyed it. Definitely looking forward to watch it "officially" in a few weeks.

I ended up giving in and watching it. I'm glad I did it though, the spoilers have been increasing a lot these last hours. Now I'm free of being paranoid and distrustful of everything for a week 

 

Seriously, people shouldn't be so inconsiderate to post spoilers in status updates. I understand the need to talk about the episode and that it's not our fault they decided to air this episode before it was supposed to, but c'mon

Another early watcher here reporting in. I just could not resist. Knowing that the finale was out there able to be watched, it would have been too much stress to wait two more weeks to know what happens. XD Pretty much watched it the moment I heard it was out there.

Yes, I simply couldn't resist and I'm really bad at avoiding spoilers so I figured it'd be more enjoyable to watch it early. Anyway it was fun staying up late and exciting having to wait for part two instead of getting the episodes back to back.

Usually my rule was to not watch trailers and read rumors but this did not go against my rule... so I bit. Perhaps there was some details that may have some carry over from previous episodes to come? I don't know.

I couldn't help myself  . In this day and age with the advent of the internet, it is near impossible to avoid spoilers of any kind. I had already seen plenty of thumbnails of the finale, so I decided to watch it before the whole thing got spoiled. And boy, was it a doozy of a finale  . Can't wait to see what adventures our favorite ponies will get themselves into in Season 7

Judging from the early votes in that poll, it seems a good number of people decided to watch the finale early. I hope those of you who haven't seen it yet don't end up getting spoiled. There's only two weeks left before it's supposed to air properly in North America, and to have it ruined when it's so close just wouldn't be fair.
