I've never done such a test so I googled it to try it out! after spending a good 5 minutes filling ou the form I was given:

"ESTP-T"

I'm not sure what it means exactly, but site said I was an Extrovert who jumps at social situations! which is quite accurate if I do say so myself :P

Thanks for showing me it!

INFJ

Although, I don't really seem to fit the description of it...

I'd much rather use D&D's 9 alignment system to say I'm "Lawful Neutral" because I feel that explains my personality better than the Myers Briggs personalities :P

I can only repeat myself from the other thread about MBTI. Tests are bullshit, very shallow and type descriptions are just to fuel stereotypes based on personality type. If anyone wants to actually get into the theory behind it and the cognitive processes, look into those, get familiar with them and determine your type through introspection.

I've already taken two versions of the test, and both times the results were INFP-A.  After reading through several pages of the description, I can say that it is actually very accurate.

Also, I've noticed that I'm the fourth person here to be INFP, and yet apparently we Mediators are only 4% of the population.  :wat:

It's impossible to actually take a Myer-Briggs Personality test because it is not statistically significant and therefore not accurate or reliable. Most of the test is regarded by the psychology community as complete hogwash and you will never see a psychology actually do such a test on you. It also lacks concistency; nearly a half of people who have retaken it from a few hours to a few days later reported their results changing. The MMPI and the Big Five are much more accurate and more widely accepted by the psychology community (namely the behavioral branch).

There's also a horrible amount of confirmation bias and the Barnum effect really kicks in. The Myers-Briggs is basically the West's horoscope.

That particular test says I'm INFP-T or INTP-T when I take it, but tests aren't reliable, and knowing some actual MBTI theory (functions and stuff) I think I'd be ENFP with a very weak E. The whole A vs T thing is just something the 16personalities test added and not relevant whatsoever to MBTI.

Just about every single time I've ever taken any Myers-Briggs personality test by this point, I've usually ended up with a type of INFJ majority of the time, which apparently according to many of the result pages about such a type I've seen make up a very small portion of the population. Not actually sure the validity and / or accuracy of such a claim, but one thing's for sure, I'm definitely closest to that type I'd say... There have been like one or two times I also had received a type of INTJ, of which anytime I get INFJ it's usually quite close a percentage rating between the F and the T, so somewhere in between there, I guess. :P

As for learning and understanding one's own personality type though and their particular strengths and weaknesses and the like, it's certainly an interesting concept and a very useful one at that as well. Kind of helps almost to see a written out general idea-pool or resource for better understanding one's own personal strengths and weaknesses, where their essential personal tendencies for certain things may lie, what they may need to improve as an individual, things of the like...

Normally I would just post the picture, but as it seems, it is too big to put in the signature here, so here is the link to my MLP personality test results:

I did it again recently and got ISTJ. I used to be INTJ, but answered a few questions different that that moved it. I had to write an 8 page essay on how my type worked with others.
