music Absolute favorite music genre as of now?

Oh, another genre I've recently been listening to is "Electro-swing" combines that of old swing style music with modern electro stuff.

2016 was the year of Future Bass for me 

Future Bass is definitely my most favorite genre of EDM music and possibly my most favorite genre of music of all time.

I don't know what more to say I mean if we are we exclude EDM genres then my favorite genre is Jazz 

But as of now I am just loving a lot of Future Bass

Asking me for my 'absolute' favorite genre is like asking me for my favorite pet or instrument - I just can't do it. I suppose I'll go with the genre I've really been loving in the last few years, though: British Folk/Rock

My favourite genre has always been metal/rock that kind of thing. 

However recently i've been really into 80s around that time anyway bands like New Order, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Talking Heads etc

Well, in my youth, my favorite music was metal and only metal. But later, I also liked to listen to EDM (mostly trance) and rock. Nowadays, I don't have a favorite style anymore. I like Trance, prog House, metal (mostly Melodic death and progressive metal), Rock and also a lot of new age, folk and indie music. It also depends on my mood what I want to listen at this moment.
