Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,202 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 Nothing is unique to my town at all, but there is a local place that serves, in my opinion, the best pizza of all time. It is sooooooooooooooooooo good. <3 So I can take pride in that for my town at least, if nothing else. 2 Redeem me into childhood. Show me myself without a shell. Kiri 7,295 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 Chick-fil-A (which is a fast food restaurant that is only located in the states if I remember correctly) is just about the best thing ever! I love their waffle fries and chicken sandwiches. As someone who doesn't really eat beef, I have a super appreciation for a restaurant that's dedicated to spreading the goodness of chicken. Subscriber Denim&Venöm 20,420 December 18, 2016 Subscriber Share December 18, 2016 Cheese curds. It's like cheese except chewier with a rubbery texture. It's the stuff that gets left over int he cheese making process. SO rather than waste it, it gets sold as it's own thing. The local burger chain Culvers even sells them as breaded & baked bites. I remember being asked this question after a concert, by none other than Marc Hudson, lead singer of Dragonforce. And cheese curds were what I recommended.

IronM17 5,782 November 2, 2017 Share November 2, 2017 My favorite food here from the rhineland is the rheinische Sauerbraten with red cabbage and Knödel. Sounds maybe awful (and I guess some find it awful), but I find it really delicious.

Kaneki 1,073 November 3, 2017 Share November 3, 2017 We have something in my state called an "Indiana tenderloin sandwich". It's a massive breaded (usually fried too) pork tenderloin served on a bun with all the toppings. Sometimes, they have certain seasonings on them too. This is what they look like usually:

It was invented in Springfield, IL, and is basically an open faced sandwich with a meat of some sort on top of texas toast, a pile of fries, and plenty of cheese sauce. Bricks_Ahoy 860 November 4, 2017 Share November 4, 2017 As a Greek, I must say that we have a lot of rather unique flavours on our menus. People most likely have heard about our very beloved seafood and fish. And that's true, if you ever visit Greece do try some anchovies or some shrimps. But, my personal favourite has to be the so-called "souvlaki" or skewer. It is basically a skewer of meat (usually chicken or pork) which has been wrapped around by a pita. You can put other ingredients too, I sometimes add some onion, fries and tomatoes. They have around 350 calories.
StormBlaze 992 November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 Cider. We have cider, proper dangerous burns through wood cider. LOL My hometown is where Sheppy's Farm make their cider - you have GOT to try their Honey cider if you are ever able to get hold of it! But region-wise, Cornish Pasties are the best you get from the South West (UK) - I Highly recommend Horse and Jockey bakery ones - the bakeries are only in Porthlevan, Helston and I thiiink The Lizard too. (Cornish towns). Just dont buy into the touristy trash ones like Ginsters or Land's End pasties, theyre horrible. DEVON PASTIES ARE A LIE!!!! Dont buy ones crimped on top! The crimping has to be on the side like a handle!!! DeviantArt ~~~ YouTube ~~~ MLP Forum Store

That really look like what we call "un grec" (a greek) in France, but in reality they're kebab, but since Turkey and Greece share a frontier, I think they're about the same ???? Catpone Cerberus 23,747 November 6, 2017 Share November 6, 2017 (edited) As a Finn, my personal favorites are Karjalanpiirakka (Karelian pasty) It's best with Munavoi ("Egg-butter" (spread made of butter and hard boiled eggs)) but can also be eaten with normal things (butter, cheese etc. thing you put on bread.) Also another one is Leipäjuusto ("Bread-Cheese" (cheese curd processed into flat bread-like cakes)) Also I like rye bread a lot, but though they are "big food" here, I'm not 100% sure if it's "Finnish only" thing.
