Even with good things and there some horrible horrible things that happened in 2016. So I pose a question: What in 2017, would make is the suffering from this past year worth it? cmarston1 5,959 December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 Well no political discussions aside, which would take away a lot of what I would want to see happen, but know is not going to happen, I guess there are a few things that I am looking forward to in 2017. I loved the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, and I am definitely looking forward to Volume 2. The same goes for Spider Man Homecoming which thanks to Civil War is definitely looking like it will be a great Spider Man film. I am also looking forward to seeing season 2 of Voltron Legendary Defender, and the new Stevenbomb that will be coming at the end of January. Seeing the premiere of the new Big Hero 6 cartoon is also going to be interesting. Some other media that I am looking forward to would be the MLP FIM movie, the EQG specials, the english dub for Your Name, and the next Digimon Adventure Tri "film". Really good video game releases (with Yooka-Laylee, that seems to be on the right track). A great season of MLP (I would love another S4). Scrubbed user 3,417 December 29, 2016 Share December 29, 2016 I hope that F1 next year will actually entertaining with the new vehicle regulations to what the FIA says to make the cars 5 seconds (or so) faster than what they are now by increasing downforce and having wider tires to increase mechanical grip. A render of what they basically will be. swept back front and rear wings, Rear wing lower and wider, reminiscent of pre 2009 cars, wider tires, and a wider track. This year's Mercedes as comparison Speaking of Mercedes, everyone is tired of them winning nearly every race, which they have done for the last 3 years. Of the past 59 races (2014-1016) Mercedes have only lost 8 of them (5 for Red Bull, and 3 for Ferrari). While those are very impressive results. It just shows that they are OP in their car and power unit design. Although, I was very pleased to see Nico Rosberg take what will be his only championship since he announced retirement just days after winning. Some may argue Red Bull streak of 4 titles in a row is similar, but at least they're not a massive automaker who bought the best in the business and didn't set about curbstomping everybody else and there was competition to the titles. You may talk to different people and you'll realize your worst year may have likely been the best year for some, and vice-versa. This year wasn't really great to me, but it wasn't the worst either. I limped out of 2016 with it being officially the most challenging year I've experienced (on a personal level), and almost immediately 2017 said, "I can beat that!". Even though 2017 has the worst day/week/month I've experienced in my 40 years on this planet, I do expect it to be more optimistic from here.
