What are you missing in your life?

(Friendship... Magic. Peace, love, joy, happiness. Generosity, loyalty, kindness, laughter, honesty. Justice, genuine affection, true faith. And above all...harmony.

Everything that is wrong with the real world that should be replaced by only what we can imagine—or at least, what the self made goddess Faust can imagine. That is what we are missing in our lives. Unfortunately, reality makes this dream unattainable....... But who knows? Maybe there is something we don't know about.)

My focus. My motivation. And my time. I have less of all those things than I used to. Taking pride in accomplishments and victories instead of being relieved that I didn't loose or screw up is something I also dearly miss.

Oh and just hanging out with friends. I lack the time these days, not that it matters with most of them having long moved on with their own lives.

The only thing I'm missing in life right now is my boyfriend. I wanna be with him rather than from behind a screen. Long distance relationships are hard. :worry:

The way things are going right now though maybe it won't be too much longer before that can be made a reality. :adorkable: If I could just be by his side than life would be, well, perfect. I can't wait for that day.

In no particular order:

Car

House

Girlfriend(?)

Kebab restaurant in my local town. Like

A house cat, to supplement the house. And because cats are awesome pets

A new headset that doesn't break :( may you rest in pieces, Steelseries. Rest in pieces..

A new gaming chair. My old AKRacing gaming chair broke two weeks ago but I am too lazy to buy a new one(???)

More fun shenanigans and random nonsense(be it as a curse or as a blessing upon any unsuspecting victi- I mean.. Yeah, victims :scoots:), because random and spontaneous is fun.

A cute maid for cleaning my apartment. I really don't like cleaning :<

I've got it all pretty much, I've accumulated great wealth, have had great success in life, fullfilled most of my goals and have many more that give me a great sense of purpose. Great education from a very respected university and a clear direction in life further studying forever honing and improving my skills. Some would argue I have it all but what I am missing is something called happiness and I doubt that shall happen for depression shall come for me and anxiety prevents me from enjoying the now most of the time.

Such a simple thing, I have set the bar high as I know I can accomplish anything I desire in life meanwhile depression you can't really just take medication and be done with it. If you can really call it a medication, as that would imply it is a sickness one can simply heal from. Truly, depression doesn't work that way to numb the pain or let the excruciating pain of existence drive you towards greatness is the only thing to do you either allow yourself to succumb to it or you use it as something positive. Since it means you are always living on the edge, forever seeking and anxiety keeping you on your toes it can be a recipe for greatness if you allow it to be my dudes.

Perhaps you mean something more tangible, yet I believe anyone can accomplish anything so long as they keep striving towards their goals. To be happy is a noble goal, but one you can only accomplish by overcoming your obstacle.

@Fluttershyfan94

(That's actually kinda sad, not finding any happiness or fulfilment in life from being insanely rich and the ability to attain any goal...

That's the kind of trap people fall for these days, thinking that the grass is always greener or that life's better in the upper class, only to find that life is sort of empty. I'm sure a lot of us have heard a lot of celebrities say that superstardom does not equal happiness and good tidings.

Sure, material things are nice, but there has got to be some sort of substance behind all of your stuff, otherwise it's all for naught. Find something that you know will bring you true happiness and not a temporary fix. I hope I haven't offended you by saying this, but I hope you take my advice.)
