It is a novel. Not like a chapter book but just a fun little book with excerpts, pictures, etc. some activities.

Pretty cute and strange for some of the shark jumping in it XD

Is a replica journal, much like the journal. There's not much plotwise, but there are things you don't know about these girls like.....

Yea I agree. Now I wanted some interesting extra canon like Applejack wanting to get a degree in environmental science or Sunset Shimmer being in the movie club or Applejack being in dance class or even cute little things like Pinkie Pie's favorite teacher being Cranky Doodle, but the girls having crushes?!?!

I mean I guess it is more realistic but I just felt like it was unnecessary. And Pinkie's crush on Shining Armor was pretty weird. But then I think about some people I know who are dating and are like 5-6 years apart. I guess that's why it is a crush so not so bad I guessXD The more I think about it. The more I don't mind it much ahaha
