mega thread What is your sexuality ?

It means we have more on our minds that purposeless and idiotic fornication. Perhaps not all of the human race wants to be feral beasts. Perhaps some of us actually give a crap about the feelings, emotions, and actually merits of a person, and don't intend on just trying to climax with them to the point they are an STD laden pile of dung.

Or, in simpler words, we don't want sex. We don't find it pleasurable, because it frankly isn't.

You might want to bring it down a notch. I don't think he was trying to be offensive or anything I think he is simply trying to get a better understand of where we're coming from.

I, too, am a heterosexual ginger who is not offended by anyone's sexual orientation. Except I'm from West Virginia, which despite popular belief, is actually pretty liberal. At least in my experience.

My family's from West Virginia!

...Sorry, didn't mean to offend... :(

I'm born and bred West Virginian, lived here my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. We're not all stereotypical rednecks, and I like showing people that. What part are they from? I've lived in the Charleston/Huntington area all my life.

All different parts, so I can't speak for them. I was there just last month.

I'm hetero, but I've never been in a relationship and never had sex. If I find myself attracted to a guy and they connected with me on a personal/emotional level I might try it out. I just want the ability to choose and experience what I feel would make me happy. Because I've never had any prior experience, I can't really make a solid choice at the moment. And unfortunately, sexuality bias has been drilled into my head as a child, so I have been trying to overcome that. In all honesty, I have no clue. I've never been attracted to a guy before, but that doesn't mean it might not happen.

We should all be afforded the chance to be happy, have equal rights and enjoy life. I think it's bullshit there is so much hatred and bias towards homosexuality, bisexuality, pan-sexuality etc. We are all human beings and there is nothing wrong or immoral about love. As that cliche goes: Love is blind.

I think asexuality is just a hard concept for anyone to understand who hasn't experienced it, especially for someone like me who is often attracted to many types of people. So does it mean you never feel attraction for someone, or do you just have intense platonic relationships instead?

For me, I feel attraction to females, but it is of a very low level. I'm very happy being alone for now. Whenever I think about being in a relationship, the idea doesn't appeal to me. I get uncomfortable when people talk about sex and romantic relationship.

I think I can see the similarities between an Asexual's philosophy and the way a Pansexuals sees people, the connection is that both parties don't look at the gender or the sex but looks for the personality/emotion/traits in people. Even though one may not fall in love as much as the other, but they both surely don't look for sex first.

I am 100 percent straight, no penises for me thank you, I have my own.

But seriously. There is nothing wrong with gay people, I just don't do it myself, heck I couldn't even fathom doing anything close to that. I actually get sick even from lesbian erotica. And I am a dude.

I'm bisexual by the normal standards.

But, I don't really see people by gender, I see them as people, and some are good looking, and some aren't.

I'm attracted to people/looks, not gender.

:o

But still, categorized, bisexual.

Actually, this was the first thread I've ever read on this forum, before I was even a member. Then I browsed through several other topics and found it very interesting, so when I was deciding which pony community to join, I joined this one ^^ Thanks for that, man! (Btw: I'm straight. But... I used to think sexually, just like you, but then I took a brohoof to the groin-innocence of the show somewhat made me think innocently, too. :D)

I am, I guess you could say, a biromantic asexual (meaning I am romantically interested in both genders, but avoidant of sexual-related activities), though my lack of relationships and apathy towards seeking a partner could argue otherwise on the biromantic part.

Thats cool man! This is the second thread I have started, right after I made one in the welcome center. I actually forgot to put a poll up too, because I was a forum noob and didn't know what I was doing haha.

I'm pretty dead inside.

I hardly care for relationships, it it matters I am mostly attracted to females.

However, I've never had a girlfriend and don't ever care to.

I realized when I hit twelve years old that I couldn't get a certain guy I saw on another forum out of my head.

I couldn't stop thinking about him :L

long story short, I realized I'm bi.

so there you go. I'm a bisexual who hardly cares for relationships.

Looking at the poll results... I know a decent number of people that have updated their response to the poll.

120% Strait, and just because I watch the show doesn't mean I like my own gender. I respect all people, but I would prefer if we all didn't talk about this. After all, there's no good reason flaunt your sexuality as it is only a very small part of who you are.

Still waiting for the part where the thread gets locked, but surprisingly it hasn't gone awol. Anyway, after voting a while back, I can still say that I am straight.

Why would the thread get locked? :P

Why would the thread get locked? :P

Because some idiot would start an argument, which would lead to a religion debate. People were considering asking mods to ban the idea of topics involving religion because it was getting way too out of hand at one point.
