Well, all attempts I made to set up a server have failed. I'm not sure why but my friend cannot connect to it because it always times out. I hope someone makes a tutorial for MTSP soon because I don't always want to have to rely on others to play the game online.

 

I also tried Lunaport just to see what it's like. It wouldn't even open.

@@Mister Jack, Right now I'm using my keyboard. Ive gotten somewhat used to it from playing, but I plan on buying a new wired Xbox controller to fit my console player needs. The only problem with that is the buttons on the Xbox controller and the set up of the controls in-game seem to clash just a tad.

It would be really cool if they make a version where you could create your own OC or at least edit the colors of your favorite characters. Overall this game looks like very good and the details put into it is really amazing. I can't wait to see other playable characters in this game!

As for myself, I'm finally getting the chance to put my arcade stick to use. It works like a dream with joy2key enabled. It was expensive but man was it worth it.

I use a gamepad for the most part with this game. I would freaking murder for one of those ps3 arcade sticks for this and street fighter, but I'm too poor atm

I believe they replied to a suggestion similar to yours a while back. They said that it is impossible to implement customization to even just colors because every color combination had to follow a palette, as well as the fact that there is only a max of 6-7 color palettes that the system they use will allow.

 

I'm certain someone else with the system will eventually mod it so that they use OCs instead of the original show characters in the future though.

I fought against my arch-enemy (Cygrade) once more today. This time, it was slightly less of a rape and more of a damn hard bossfight.

One of the main reasons behind him being able to keep up his combos is because he plays Twilight Sparkle - the lagster of this game...

Other than that, I am yet to meet anyone else that can take me out in a rough manner.

THIS. THIS SO MUCH. I find myself instinctively pressing my push block button for UMvC3 and yeah hahahaha

 

c.L->c.L->c.L etc blockstrings in this game become ridiculously good due to lack of pushblock.

When I listened to the characters' stage themes, I noticed that they all had parts that were all based off of songs from the show:

 

Applejack- "At the Gala"

Twilight Sparkle- the show's theme song

Rarity- "Art of the Dress" (really hard to tell though)

Pinkie Pie- "Giggle at the Ghosties" and "Cupcakes"

I have been curious on one topic. To those who have played the game, if you could answer, who is the best pony who maintains combos? It's kind of a wonder to me, since I saw that all of the ponies can hold a good combo after a while (even though the main pwnage of combos has probabl come from Applejack from what I hear?)
