Ahhhhhh, good morning everypony!  It is time once again for yet another new episode of MLP.  While I doubt that this week's will prove to be as ridiculously adorable as last week's episode was, I am sure it will be delightful all the same.  After all, we get to see the return of Maud Pie, and she may even be getting her doctorate... er, rock-torate, today.  Should be quite a bit of fun, indeed!

Hi guys, Wardomatic here. I'm popping my head in to say that I had the great honor to work on this episode! I'm a Maud fan now. For the record, I boarded out the first half of the episode, and the fantastically talented Sherann Johnson (she's been in the industry for YEARS - worked on Ed Edd and Eddy, among others) did the 2nd half. My favorite thing to board out was the dichotomy between Pinkie Pie and Maud. Both are so very different, making the acting and poses a lot of fun.

Okay, synopsis makes me a bit scared that it could end up being a "Pinkie gets too worked up and starts to freak out that it won't be good enough and Maud has to calm her down. I don't see Maud staying though.

Oh dear Lord, that opening scene.  Classic Pinkie, classic Maud, classic MLP comedy all around, just a deliciously funny scene altogether.  The absurd setup actually struck me as slightly reminiscent of a scenario the old Looney Tunes might have run with.  This episode is off to quite a good start already!!!

So it was the mic causing the Pies to cover their ears. For a moment I thought it might be Pinkie's shouting since there was nopony else there. XD

She did have that effect on the train passengers, though. XD

Oh my gosh... so Pinkamena Diane Pie and Maudalina Daisy Pie??? THAT'S AMAZING!!!  Now I just have to know at some point what the full names of Marble and Limestone are!  Also, wowwwwwwwwwwwww... that Starlight flashback was deliciously evil in a hilarious way.  Goodness gracious I never get sick of what they come up to do with Maud!

Maud's full name is Monolina Daisy Pie. Nifty. Also, it seems Starlight is forever cursed to have characters bringing up her evil past. XD

I like how Maud is now tied into Starlight's enslavement of her former village.

when maud told us that she helped starlight enslave her village, pinkie pie muttered, and I heard "awkward as hell", instead of "offer to help"

Pinkies reaction to the flashback totally wrapped that whole scene up perfectly. Her nervous laugh into getting really serious with Maud. 10/10

OK.. Pinkie is annoying the hell out of me this episode, BUTTTTT I can understand why, since it is literally trying to make a point. That being said.... she is still annoying the hell out of me lol. Still enjoying the insight into Maud's character and thoughts... really loving that.

Uh, methinks that Pinkie Pie might just be the reason Maud decided to leave.  She's being SUPER clingy, and I don't think she trusts that Maud is capable of making a friend on her own, very interesting.

Also, yet another one of these Peek Behind the Boutique segments with Rarity, and once again it was AMAZING!!!
