Mutemutt 773 July 31, 2013 Share July 31, 2013 Heh, you make it sound so dirty. No one has ever caught me watching an episode or browsing these forums because I don't like the idea of people watching me when I'm on the computer. Seriously. I only ever browse the forum/watch MLP/anime blah blah blah at home. My brother did see the Lyra background I had for my Ipod. It turns out he likes ponies too. DeletedAcc 64 July 31, 2013 Share July 31, 2013 Nope, watch it late at night when everyone is sleeping. Although I can usually hear when people leave their room or come up the steps. Then it's time to stare at the desktop! “Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened...” -Dr.Seuss
Red Diamond 549 July 31, 2013 Share July 31, 2013 Me on my old Vista laptop, watching pony videos, and my father caught me. I said nothing is wrong with ponies, and I can choose what I can watch, even if it's a girl show, like MLP. I don't really give a shit if people know. Nowadays I quit, and came back as a closet. Yeah, it's better not to go down that road of insults again. ATTENTION!! I DO NOT TAKE REQUESTS!
Creamy Arty 6,252 August 1, 2013 Share August 1, 2013 Since I've never tried to hide the fact that I'm a brony, I've been caught multiple times. Parents, friends, miscellaneous relatives, they all know. Kyoshi made this ^^ Come join us on Equestria.tv on Fridays at 6 PM Eastern for our weekly movie nights! Mzukiller 233 August 1, 2013 Share August 1, 2013 I once barred the door because I was watching it, since people have a tendency to just walk in out of nowhere. Hard to explain that one. I'm not a closet brony, so No I have not... I feel the need to ask, if you're neither a closet brony nor have you ever had an experience like this, why even respond to the thread? I am a Brony. I love being a Brony, Twilight is best pony.
Smarts 1,623 August 2, 2013 Share August 2, 2013 Not me. I don't try to keep it secret. I wear a Chrysalis jacket to school and sometimes the Rainbow Dash beanie. My entire desktop has been ponified, so anyone who comes visit would automatically know that I like MLP. I don't feel that ashamed for liking it. I embrace it. IF is best girl. Throwaway19573639385 764 August 2, 2013 Share August 2, 2013 I don't try to hide the fact that I like MLP so it would surprise me if no one knew about it. Every single thing I have is completely plastered with ponies, phone, laptop, notebooks, everything. The trick is not to make a big deal out of it. Just be confident and everything will work out just fine.
Charcoal Embers 169 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 Originally I was (and still kind of am) very closet. Even though I know most of my relatives know I still hide it. But at school I am much more open since my group of friends is literally called the nerd herd. Most of them do wear MLP T-shirts and necklaces to school and no one seems to mind. If things had gone as I thought they would I would probably still not even know that there were bronies/pegasisters at my school. But on my first day a (now) friend of mine just up and asks me if I watch MLP. That made things a crap ton easier. 1 Signature by Lunia | Charcoal Embers: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/charcoal-embers-r4028 Caprisha: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/caprisha-r4094 Pack Rat: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/pack-rat-r5835 ColdCircut (FoE): http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/coldcircut-foe-r6312

dishraglord 41 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 I've only been caught once by my mom she didn't care, and a few times by my dad didn't care either when he saw me watching some episodes on the family computer. My dads actually tried watching an episode or two, whenever my sister watches it on tv occasionally. For some odd reason my 3 year old sister likes watching a show she can't even understand, that her 13 year old brother likes watching as well and is part of a fandom of this show the 3 year old also watches, I really hate how that works out. I told my 2 closest friends that I was a brony, kinda casually when saying so fit in with the conversation, they didn't care either, they sometimes tease me about it though. Oh but all hell broke loose when the 5 freaks at my table in art last year found out (to be honest I don't even remember how). They harassed me everyday constantly with a new barrage of insults, I can think of so many stories I have of those idiots.
Geek0zoid 1,468 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 I'm a closet brony (Sort of). The only people who know I'm a brony are my other brony friend and my brother. I was almost caught on this site by my dad, but I switched to another tab just before he looked at the computer screen. Zygen 6,066 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 My little cousin caught me once. He saw the tab name(apparently he is able to read tab names didn't know that. And was like "My little pony?" giggled and then we lucky got saved as the call for dinner came, that was closest i got. My brother saw it one time and asked what MLP stood for, but then left for something else, so yeah. Hopefully i never get actually caught. Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig! crysal 30 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 Yes, I have for almost every episode in season 2 because I was watching it before bed time and my father always came in while I was watching it for the first time (when no one knew that I was a brony) But now that all the people in my house know that I watch it, they just don't mind anymore Have a nice day Twitter Facebook Steam Twitch
techno915 408 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 usually, it is not i who is caught with the mlp stuff. it's more often me kinda peeking around to see who are fans based on what THEY have on THEIR screens. plus, i don't really do much pony stuff in public anyway. except for listen to music. this will probably change once i finally get to attend a convention. Justin ZW 396 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 I was a closet brony, and then I asked myself "Why?" and stopped caring. I watch MLP while my grandparents are in the room, and my desktop background is Rainbow Dash, my Chrome has a Rainbow Dash theme, and my cursor is Rainbow Dash. ... Not_A_Replicant 109 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 I watch it with my sister. My family knows I watch it with her. They don't really care. They know I think it's a good show. My dad has actually seen a few parts that made him laugh. (Rainbow Dash and Derpy scene.) I'm mostly just worried about my friends. If I find a Beony at my new school (Highland Tech) that would be awesome.
Lion Tree 4 August 4, 2013 Share August 4, 2013 Here is how it goes with me...Pokemon Style :3 A Wild Sister Appeared! She has Caught you watching my little pony! Calirolls used EXCUSE! Wild Sister believes the Excuse! Wild Sister Retreats! Calirolls Returns to Watching Ponies! omg whats the excuse maybe we could use it I tell them I`m watching so I can tell my cousin what happens next but my parents found out and had me do a mlp family thing for family memebers I am still working on it I got my cousins down, my mom, my dad, me, and some other people. so ya it was fun. parents like my mane six back ground it helps cause the icons can`t hide on it. lol No she dosent, and, seriously, shes 7, she literally turned 7 on sunday, she wont understand at all. tie her to the chair and make her watch it that's what I would do srsly I would....cause I have nearly made one of my cousins a brony I've been caught a few times. My mom walked in while I was watching MLP on TV, but she didn't care. She said it was cute that I like it . My dad also found out (I think) and didn't say anything, so I guess he doesn't care either or didn't notice. One of my roommates found out when he saw my cell phone wallpaper. I said it was just some random picture I found and I didn't know what it was from, but he didn't buy it. I eventually owned up to liking MLP, and he also didn't care. Another one of my roommates caught me on the forums, but he either didn't notice or didn't care. I think he didn't know what I was on though and probably thought it was just some site. maybe the 1st room mate was brony the one who saw the cellphone wall paper....srsly they`ll only make fun of you if ya get embarised Originally I was (and still kind of am) very closet.
