general Your Ideal Date?

Maybe going to a convention together?  It would be even more fun if we were both cosplaying or just enjoying each other's company and perusing the dealer's den.

Having some tea or coffee afterwards would be a nice way to close the date!

Playing board games or rpg. Or talking about hobbies while going for a walk.

What kind of board games? I like cards against humanity! That would make a hilarious date. XD

...Ideal date..? Crap.

I'm a total romantic nut, but normal dates bore the everliving crap out of me.

So, I guess you and me sitting/lying comfy on the couch snuggling, watching a Studio Ghibli movie or something. Or an Anime. Or an Anime movie. Or a series, like Babylon 5 or some shit.

Zero costs, lots of private snuggly snug fun time, enjoy each others' company, but most of all, I get to stare at your cute face while you're close to me.

 Yeeeehhhhhssss!!!! haha! That is ideal indeed!

Personally, I'd like to walk through a military museum or maybe some kind of fort hand in hand, peculiar, I'm sure, afterwards just sit down for lunch together and chat away someplace nice nearby.

...Take me to a tank museum and preferably drive/ride a tank and I'll be forever yours. Bonus points if it's a Leopard or Leopard 2. If it's a Tiger or a Tiger II.. Consider yourself already proposed to.

Couch/bed dates are the best. Why go to some fancyass expensive as hell restaurant where the food barely work as an appetizer and you basically pay for expensive temporary cutlery when you instead can be at home, making whatever you want and however much you want? And can pick whatever movie/series you want?

Cinemas are basically just expensive ways to listen to other people's kids interrupting the movie. They should introduce some sort of soundproof area for screaming kids(and sometimes interruptive adults) at cinemas. Would make it bearable at least.

Just a little quiet time. Stopping at a non-chain coffee shop for a while. Antiquing, flea marketing. Just taking a long walk together.

^_^

Yay I love antiquing!!! I wish I could find someone to do that with.

Agreed 100% I like the whole "just the two of us" sort of idea, not too loud of crowded, just a nice time to enjoy. :P

Typical and normal is dull. I think someone above mentioned conventions and I think that would be an awesome idea. Same with swap meets, flea markets and antique/oddity shops.

I also really like the idea of doing something weird or unusual, such as go ghost hunting or exploring old cemeteries, caves or mysterious locations.

I also really like bookstores and libraries so I think meeting and spending time in one would be pretty awesome as well.

One thing I really like with someone is spending time alone and talking. Somewhere private, away from other people. That's the kind of time I enjoyed with my last ex.

Otherwise, I just flat out don't have enough experience with this whole dating thing to really know what I like.

I've been there. I suggest going out on your own (if you can) and then imagine you are on a "Date".  Explore places you like and use your mind to simulate how you want your date to go. If the thoughts aren't to your liking, explore other places until you find somewhere you can imagine your PERFECT Date!

I feel like the ideal date for me, to be honest, would just be me and my boyfriend (It's still a standing offer ;P) doing something we both enjoy together and just enjoying each other's company... Though I have not really ever imagined what my ideal date would really be like in detail, being that I haven't actually gotten that far yet... x_x

I don't really feel the need for anything extreme and exciting, and lots of people I'm not familiar with equates to lots of anxiety for me.
