I had nothing against the CMC getting their cutie marks in season 5, but in this case, the thought of Pipsqueak or Rumble, both long time blank flanks, getting their cutie marks would take too long to get used to.

YAY, I'VE MISSED THAT FILLY-LOOKING COLT  . I'll miss his high-pitched voice from S2 though, but I've read his voice sounds like a bratty colt only heard in the Christmas-themed pony album  . Well, there's the waifu thief again if that's the case

Mark and Recreation definitely seems like the much more interesting episode to me, but than again I was never really all that looking forward to Mane thing about You anyways.

Definitely looking forwards to both, but a bit more hyped about Marks & Recreation.  I think this is Rumble's first official song in the entire series.  I was kinda hoping that Diamond Tiara would be involved in that episode somehow, though.

I think it's the same actor. Remember Pip hasn't spoken since Crusaders of the Lost Mark. For comparison on child voices compare Sweetie Belle in Ponyville Confidential to Twilight Time (roughly the same amount of time) also taking into account boys voices can drop very rapidly and more distintly compared to girls (for non-mlp comparison Adventure Time's season 2 Finn to Season 4 Finn)

Yes. That is a fairly accurate observation. Also, my grass was just cut. I figured that while we were pointing things out I would share.

I like the fact that Rumble is basically taking the reverse position of Diamond Tiara. Also depending on how they play this episode, the psychology is going to be tantalizing.

That's why I think this would have been a good opportunity to give Diamond Tiara another spot in the foreground:  It would have been a good opportunity to contrast her past behavior with his & have her point out how both extremes are wrong...  Of course I'm wondering if Starlight Glimmer might be getting a walk-on part in this episode where she points out to Rumble how she used to think almost the exact same thing and what it cost her & almost ended up costing Equestria as a whole...

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The previews for both episodes were pretty aweosme! It was funny how Rarity and Pinkie were covered in silly string. I like how we get to see Zecora again after not seeing her for a while. I was surprised when we see what happens to Rarity. The Marks and Recreation preview was interesting. It's cool we get to see Rumble play a part in the episode. The song was pretty cool and I wonder why Rumble was acting the way he did. I wonder if one of his friends or maybe his brother wasn't happy with their cutie mark. This could cause Rumble to be the way he was acting now. All in all, the previews were pretty cool and I look forward to watching the episodes.
