I know it was executed well and is sure to definitely build up more hype but I feel that it underperformed somehow but I'm not sure in what capacity. It lacks substance...there's nothing intrinsically personal about the 'plot'. It doesn't feel original. Most of the action, the voice lines and even the new characters are all cliche. It's the basic plot of Star Wars superimposed on ponies. It's HOLLYWOOD > with some > mlp. I'm still going to support it and be optimistic. Also, I think Tempest Shadow is awesome & I hope she continues to be awesome as she has the potential to be the B.A.E (Best Antagonist Ever) in MLP:FiM! Tabitha is being brilliant again with her voicing, and honestly I can see this being a fun movie. I'm not expecting anything special or epic, and this trailer is giving me what I want. Thrond 3,263 September 13, 2017 Share September 13, 2017 This one's slightly less noisy than the other trailer, but man, I'm not feeling any of it. Huzzah, generic Hollywood spectacle animation. Still dislike the backgrounds and the shading. And I sure hope the rest of Emily Blunt's lines are better, because she sounds super bored in this one. At least this one actually lists the main cast.
