HellsWriter 100 April 17, 2018 Share April 17, 2018 So I have been wondering if fangirls like a female character, would they considered them their waifu. I was wondering because Wonder Woman is my wafiu. I really wasn't sure what it would be called if a fangirl likes a female character. SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!! ShadOBabe 19,011 April 17, 2018 Share April 17, 2018 (edited) Well I'd say it depends on what you consider a waifu to be in combination with your sexual orientation. To me a waifu is basically a character you have a crush on. Sometimes a very intense crush. I'm a straight female, so for me, I crush on male characters. Therefore, I have gaifus/husbandos. Lucky Bolt 35,085 April 17, 2018 Share April 17, 2018 I guess it all just depends on your gender or whatever. I'm a straight female, so I have "husbandos" which is just the male version of "waifus" ☆ My socials ☆

Snow Frostflame 3,568 April 19, 2018 Share April 19, 2018 The law states right here Article 12 - Subsection G: Girls are forbidden to have waifus. Being serious, its probably still referred to as waifu, or really what ever you want to refer to it as. Everything doesn't need a specific label, and no one is telling you, you cannot.

But if you're not, "waifu" is the Japanese-romaji spelling of the English word "wife" and is typically used to describe someone you have sexual feelings for. By all means, call them waifu if you wish, but just pointing it out :3 We are not human beings having a spiritual experience We are spiritual beings having a human experience | signature by @Kyoshi

Dreambiscuit 10,094 November 1, 2021 Share November 1, 2021 (edited) Waifu seems like a term reserved for characters you're deeply attracted to on a number of levels, but largely romanctic. So if you're simply a (straight) female fan without the romantic angle I'd probably use a different term.
