It seems almost every time i search up a fandom, whether it be Bronies, furries or the sonic commuity, its almost always bad news!  It just pisses me off!  

Its obvious that all communities have good and bad sides, but the positive stuff i almost never see talked with people about outside of any of these communities!

I completely understand your frustration, as I myself have grown tired of watching people hating on fandoms. There's good and bad in every fanbase, that's all there is to it. It's not a contest over which one is the "most toxic". Regardless, welcome to the forums, I hope you have yourself a great time here.

I've had plenty of people call e weird for being a brony but it's just like anything else I'm a dc comic fan too they don't criticize me for that. I also feel that the whole were all basement dwellers and cloppers is really annoying but I guess I can just tell them to buzz off.

Yeah! not all bronies are cloppers, which im not afraid to admit i am, but i swear to you, i would NEVER, NEVER commit in real life those...acts. if you catch my drift. (Gulp)

I actually did research on the internet on furries a year or two ago, and they aint as bad as these A-HOLES say. what about the sonic fans?  why do they get so much hate? I  consider myself tolerant of all fandoms, and i really hate the term "toxic fandom".

Every fandom has its own stereotypes. This problem isn't really particular to bronies or any other group. It is human nature to form groups and cliques, and equally so to oppose said groups. No matter what you do, where you go, or who you associate with, there will always be someone that is all too eager to spill out the bad news.

The bad stuff is easy to notice cause it's out of the ordinary. A fandom with smooth sailing doesn't get noticed. Most of the time, we're pretty chill. 

Take your time and explore these forums, and you'll find that out for yourself. 

You'll like the time you have here.

i can't talk about those.as i have never been to their fandoms,but when i see them at deviantArt they don't seem to recieve negative criticism

Typically Sugarcube Corner is where you would want to post this if it were pertaining solely to the MLP fandom, but since it's more about fandoms in general than this is the place for more generalized topics. Please pay close attention to where you're creating topics, and don't let the negative ones stress you out. They'll only be there so long as people give them attention.

To be honest, every single fandom is annoying to ones outside it. People keep talking about something you don't like or are simply not interested in? They even keep telling you to try stuff out by yourself? It's understandable that you may get tired of it. That's why outsiders don't appreciate these little corners.

People have different interests in that subject, whether it may be anime, furries, ponies or even bigger science. Honestly though, (mostly; and from male perspective) it's all about female characters with human-like characteristics, that have a cute design on top of that. No wonder why they appear to be attractive, so I can't blame anybody for liking them that much; Actually it's not much of a difference if you ask me. NSFW is NSFW; Some prefer regular HD content with real life graphics (which is as  as the other ones - if we're going to judge it from that perspective), some prefer fantasy, if I could name it that way.

From what I can tell, apparently those nekos appear to be loved by many and I ask, how is it any different? 

Eh, what I wanted to say is, that if I'd be going to judge people for that type of activity, I wouldn't question 'how' (as it all comes to the same point), I would just take that fact itself into consideration. ~ in other words, don't feel bad about this.

That in real life though... now that's where we could question 'how', heh.

I know how that feels. It's not really a fandom, but a lot of people are giving so much hate to one of my heroes. They say how bad a pitcher he is, how he should be traded... and it never seems to end. I don't see anyone standing up for him, except for me. My dad told me that a lot of the people that probably do this are most likely fans of other teams or whatever, so it gives me a good peace of mind.

IMO: Haters gonna hate.

Its always these stupid cringe comp youtube videos. i freaking hate those! also, whenever theres a work of pony content  combined with fallout, or star wars, these jerks always say stuff like, "I have lost the will to llive" and "bronies ruin everything"

Two questions why go watch the hate and why does the hate matter to you at all? If they are not fans then they are not fans and their opinion of the fandom means very little as they are commenting on stuff they do not understand. Further those with such opinions are likely kids who are just being "edgy"

Some people love to make problems, especially if it insults or annoys someone else. I guess they get a charge out of that although I can't really understand the fascination. The fact is, as a fan, you have something that you love. The haters apparently don't. So they're the ones who have the loss. Screw 'em.

Because the loudest in any community tend to also be the most obnoxious. You get just a few people going around posting weird and inappropriate fan art while being belligerent towards those that call them out on it, and before long that is the face of your community. Many such cases. Sad!

It's just beyond me that there are people that actively take their time to hate on something that doesn't hurt anyone instead of focusing on something they love. I think that kind of behavior is way more strange than certain fandoms. Constantly focusing on hate and negativity just sounds exhausting.
