His words basically debunk the notion of 'Clop' (Or even cartoon porn in general) being unnatural. Personality may also feed my point. Most of the characters on MLP are females capable of rational thinking. They have their own personalities, and some may find themselves attracted to these particular personalities. I do not believe attraction to MLP characters to be purely a physical attraction. People who are attracted to these characters see elements of humanity in them; elements of humanity that they happen to find appealing.


In this regard, I find it insultingly offensive for people to judge others for clopping. Human beings simply cannot choose who/what they are attracted to. It is hardwired into our biological coding. Shunning people for being attracted to 'Clop' material in my eyes is no different from Shunning gays.
Outcasting others for what they cannot control is idiotic, and frankly barbaric. "

 

 

Essentially, human beings are attracted to different things. Not everyone will find the same things attractive, for we are all different on a biological level. 

 

 

There is no right or wrong answer to the question 'Are ponies sexy'. It is all personal preference.

While I tend to agree with you on a more fundamental level, I think that there is a right answer to the question "Is Rainbow Dash sexy?" To which the answer is a resounding Aye! Are we in agreement?

Is it only me or do you also think humanized ponies are way less attractive than the ones from the show? I mean they both are not super attracting, but humanized versions of character are usually a big nuisance for me, as I really hate humans (especially aesthetically).

I tend to not see a very big difference in overall attractiveness. Though I have seen some absolutely sexy Rainbow dash humanization's (Though I gotta say, for some reason it bugs me when people draw her as larger than an A-cup) But for me it's kind of equal.

Yeah but from the other side... It can't be all psychical attraction... I mean there are people that are more physically attracted or psychically attracted in case of ponies as well as in case of humans, so I wouldn't generalize here...

 

People tend to perceive this as something completely different than attraction to humans... in my opinion it isn't.

Well thankfully I can view the show it its normal habitat (on tv) and not get a wingboner as it's innocent on it's own (except for the occasional "ponies out of context" images, lol). That said the characters are female, talking, slightly anthromoprhic cute horses with pretty manes and exist as great characters so it only takes some artist on deviant art to do a few tweaks to make them truly attractive and a little more human (and not just cute). I can see where others need them to be more anthro or humanized to then "feel" it as it's just shades of grey between pony and human traits. While I've seen some artists go realistic in their art that's when it really loses the appeal for 95% of us but likely may go up for any zoophiliacs.  Cries.

I do not find ponies attractive. Even as a big fan of the show back then, I could never grasp my mind around the fact people find ponies sexy.. does that really make sense? Sounded like a furry to me.. I AM female, however. So that may be why. I do find a character from a show attractive *cough* Son Gohan *cough* but atleast he's... er.. partially human. 

 

I find Humanized ponies extremely ugly, to be honest.

Well, not really. Usually I just think that the thought of that is just.. ehum, disturbing. Allthough I accept the people who have another opinion. They're a part of the fandom too. Me too, I really don't get into humanized ponies at all. The show gives us some perfectly good, attractive cartoon ponies and then someone has to go and change their species. Admit it human lovers, you just look at these pics because you don't want to admit you find them hot just the way they are!
