Can we talk about that Royal Guard mare? (S8 spoilers)

I noticed a different color on this guard here when I saw the episode, but it wasn't until I saw comments that yes, we have a mare in the guard now!

We've never actually seen that before, it's usually the same two or three models of stallion. This is pretty cool! I wonder why they decided to in season 8.

That mare of the royal guard looks like a Rainbow Dash re-colour due to having a similar look. Still, I'm glad that they finally added a mare to their ranks instead of having them consist only of males.

mane and tail are not the same, thus, not a recolor. Or is any pegasus pony supposed to be a recolor of RD, now?
