Clawdeen 14,207 December 29, 2019 Share December 29, 2019 I’ll say this. The Kpop fandom as a whole. I stopped interacting on Kpop websites due to how bad the fans get. The way they talk about groups, artists, singers they don’t like gets down right disgusting. The treatment to the other fans is no different. Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between legit fans and trolls. Don’t like an outfit on a member? Don’t share that opinion or you get death threats and a fake fan label slapped on you by the fandom. Some people have even been doxxed due to fights within the fandom. The BTS comments showing up on completely unrelated videos, posts, pictures, etc has become ridiculous. It was a funny thing ages ago. It’s out of hand, rude and annoying. The past generation was definitely the time to be a Kpop fan. Never had to put up with any of this nonsense. Not saying we didn’t have fandom fights but it didn’t turn into my family being threatened for me not liking a song. *Ridiculous! Utterly Ridiculous!*
Splashee 28,564 December 29, 2019 Share December 29, 2019 I am so glad I haven't run into any bad userbases yet. I can see some bad aspects in every community, it being Sonic, Dragon Ball, MLP... Wait, those are the only ones I know. I haven't even browsed 4chan once. I am just glad then! I'm not voting on this one.
Flutterstep 47,085 December 29, 2019 Share December 29, 2019 I’ve only used YouTube and Reddit. Both are balanced in my experience. Reddit users only say things that grant them karma and YouTube users just say anything they like, resulting in both communities being trash. ExplosionMare 18,063 December 29, 2019 Share December 29, 2019 The Freddit community. Not the posts themselves, but the comments. People say so many stupid things on there that I’ve never wanted to post there. I only posted once to share a friend code to get more stuff but that was it. 1 Boom! Sovereign Leader Rarity 12,006 December 29, 2019 Share December 29, 2019 I mean, YouTube is the only one of these that I do use, and its community is expectedly dreadful because it's just so mainstream, and therefore can be easily accessed and subsequently poisoned by the lowest standard of intellect and manners. applesjck 5,601 January 2, 2020 Share January 2, 2020 I would have to say Tumblr. There are lots of good people on there, yes, but there are also many who are way too sensitive. People literally breathe on that site and they get attacked. Lover of all things Applejack. <
The Historian 516 February 27, 2020 Share February 27, 2020 The most caustic, for me, has been some video game communities. I refuse to have anything to do with MOBAs because the player-base is so frustratingly venomous and elitists drove me out of CS and Battlefield. I've seen some caustic subreddits but, on the whole, I wouldn't say Reddit is nearly as bad as some people think it is. Since tumblr kicked porn off the platform, it has become interminably pointless. While some interesting things are still there, they are few and far between. I have no reason to go there if there's no delicious clop on it. 4chan is just a mutant stepchild at this point. They've long since become fucking worthless and outdated. It was once grand with clever edgy comedy and memes. But not anymore. I still visit /e/ on occasion though. Anime tid will always be wonderful. However, the grand champion of shitty is Twitter, followed very closely by Facebook. Everyone and their mother can use these platforms to espouse whatever bullshit rhetoric they wish. Unfortunately, that also means extremism is highly concentrated in those places. I refuse to use twitter because it's the most venomous platform on the web. I do use Facebook but only to keep up with certain family members, and I'm part of PC big box collecting groups there too. Reddit, tumblr and even YouTube comments aren't even in the same league as twitter. NZG | RA2M | BBPCG
Jon the VGNerd 885 March 21, 2020 Share March 21, 2020 YouTube, because its run by incompetent morons that don't really take their job seriously. They don't ever moderate comment sections, and they wrongfully remove videos that are deemed "copyright violation". To top it off, they give no revenue to smaller YouTubers and only cater to bigger YouTubers.
Cash In 22,328 March 22, 2020 Share March 22, 2020 (edited) Twitter is a hot mess, so probably that. Youtube comments can be pretty shit too, but I feel like they've never quite reached the levels of Twitter. Edited March 31, 2023 by Cash_In At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Northern Star 1,024 January 15, 2022 Share January 15, 2022 Reddit. It shows that all people of all groups have...bad to them. Then showcases it. Then is proud of that. Then a ways down you get to see it in action with threats and such. Which are also applauded.
Tom Gallagher 33,588 January 15, 2022 Share January 15, 2022 Every single fandom of modern artists. Bey, BTS, Swift, all people who I can’t stand. Their fans act like they’re the only people who ever made music and started genuinely insulting me when I said I didn’t like them, please don’t hate me for having an opinion. Those ‘artists’ won’t be remembered in thirty years. 1 Signature made by the amazing @Sparklefan1234
Dev 251 January 16, 2022 Share January 16, 2022 Twitter is a hellscape which should be avoided at all costs. JMTV99 1,353 January 16, 2022 Share January 16, 2022 ALL online communities are TRASH!!!!!! YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. ALL of them are GARBAGE! But honestly, Twitter is MUCH WORSE! TBD 17,254 January 20, 2022 Share January 20, 2022 Twitter. God what has it become. I remember creating one back in 2012 and it usually a place where "old(er)" casual people goes in and do whatever. While the youngsters have their Facebook or Myspace or DeviantArt. Now it's another way around. I can't post my opinion there without having stupid kids and karens harassing me over having a fucking opinion. I enjoyed twitter before it was bombed with bunch of nuisances. I still use twitter but now I just choosing not to bother with replies and such because it's just too much of a headache for me. ♪ "I practice every day to find some clever lines to say, to make the meaning come through"♪

Shadowmoth2011 150 April 19, 2022 Share April 19, 2022 I think it's really dependent on the fandom. As one example, the Total Drama community is good on Reddit, but a hellscape on Tumblr It takes all sorts to make a world Short and tall sorts, large and small sorts To fill this pretty planet with love and laughter To make it great to live in tomorrow and the day after! Pandora 38,057 April 23, 2022 Share April 23, 2022 In all honesty every community is toxic. I've found MLP community to also be one of them hence reduced my activity and I feel a lot better now than i did before.. But Twitter, i'd vouch for being the worst among with yes, kpop fandoms {As someone who has been apart of a community like that for years.. I saw it go downhill- in the past everyone didn't mind the groups and didn't care at all who won, who sang what etcetera.. just fun but nowadays it's nothing but hate on this hate on that and because of that stupidity they even drag down the groups they are supporting. ._.} #NoAI please be so kind to not throw my artworks into AI machines, This is something that unsettles me heavily! <3 Signature by @Moonlight
