My favorite retro console is the original xbox from 2001. I modchipped the console myself. I played us NTSC games on my pal console, it played DVDs from all regions I watched region 1 and 2 NTSC/pal DVDs, it was possible to access files on my usb key from the xbox's usb 1.1 ports and I even watched divx movies directly from my usb key.

I'm not really sure what's considered "retro" at this point, but going from what I'd view as retro I'd definitely say the SNES (hence my username), PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2 and Sega Genesis. Probably the Game Boy Advance as well.

Favorite retro games consist of Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, the classic Sonic games and the Crash and Spyro games for PS1. I'm... kind of a fan of platformers.
