Samurai smiles. "Nice to have you aboard, Chelsea! If you want to join us, then you're basically our shield. You would be able to transport us out of there instantly if anything goes wrong, likewise you could use your powers in any other way that could give us an upper hand. But just like the others, this is all an optional operation. If you want to step away because it's too dangerous, that's fine." Samurai explains.

'A surprise is waiting for us at your shop?' Dynamo asks telepathically, before smiling as he gave a nod in his mind. 'Okay, then. Bluebell and I will be right there. Although, I guess teleporting us too would have worked. Since I don't think I've seen the new shop you build before. Do you have any directions for us to follow?' He thought, recalling another time that he wasn't teleported with Thundy. "Thundy had sent me a message telepathically, while saying that he wanted us to stop by his shop first. So, it looks like we need to make a quick detour first, before our date." He blushed as he was both nervous and looking forward to his date with Bluebell.

If we get lost, then I have a way for us to make it back to both the town and the shop.’ He reassured the griffon as he and Bluebell started making their way out of the room and hospital. “So, it seems like Thundy gave us some directions to follow to get to his shop. I hope you don’t mind if we make a quick detour before going on our date.” He turned to Bluebell, while giving her an apologetic look.

He hoped that Bluebell didn’t mind the detour, but was given his answer as she gently kissed his cheek. Dynamo blushed in surprise, but smiled as he happily accepted the affection. All the while, leaning over as he gave her a gentle nuzzle. As the two began making their way down the path, a thought had occurred to Dynamo. “Since we have to make our way over towards Thundy’s shop. Maybe we can take the time to get to know each other more? Maybe we can both ask each other some questions about the other. Like for example, have you always lived in Appleloosa, or did you move to somewhere else. I remember you said Appleloosa was your home, but I wasn’t sure if you had traveled around Equestria, or something along those lines.”

Samurai looks at Tree Song. "Forgive me, Ms. Tree Song. Since we just met recently, I'm a little unfamiliar with your abilities. But if you feel like you can contribute in some way, then you're welcome to join us. Never hurts to have a wild card or a back up plan." Samurai says.

Trilby rubs the back of his neck. "Well, as somepony who just woke up from a curse, I can barely figure out what to do next. The old me would have run away from this mission like a coward, because the curse would have said that it's too much work and too dangerous. But the REAL me? Well... I might just be a simple hat maker, but I'm crazy enough to do anything, because I want more out of life. Besides..." Trilby stands closer to Shadow. "Where Shadow goes, I go." Trilby says with a nod.

Pencil turned to Samurai and Trilby who were wondering if she wanted to join their mission. She definitely wanted to help out, but she didn’t want to slow anyone’s progress. She was willing to go along if she could prove herself useful. In her mind, she felt she would probably end up getting too confused or not have the proper skills to locate Nightmare Moon. However, if the others truly wanted her to come along.

“I-I can come along if y-you’d like! I d-don’t need to go to the m-museum right away,” she announced nervously. A wave of heat flowed into Pencil’s face, causing her to display an embarrassing blush. She hid her face behind her hoof so no one could see it.

Chelsea stooped down and looked at Pencil. "It's okay Pencil. I know you'll be able to do something." Chelsea stated stroking Pencil's mane lovingly, looking into her eyes compassionately. "Besides, you could draw out some stuff for us in case we need to save evidence..." Chelsea stated.

“H-hey, that’s not a bad idea,” Pencil told Chelsea as she began stroking her mane.

Pencil felt a bit calmer about the situation although she was still a bit unsure of herself. She knew her friends believed in her, but she didn’t know how much her set of skills would actually benefit the mission. The only way to find out for sure was to begin using them as best she could. She could only hope that she would not disappoint.

"W-well, I was bor-born in a-a-Appleloosa, and spent some of my-my childhood th-there, but after that, my-my home base has always been in ca-ca-Canterlot.  Spike,Twilight, s-s-Celestia, l-Luna, Shining and c-Cadence, Twilight v-v-Velvet, they're li-li-like my fa-family away from home. They taught m-me, they love-loved me, and took such g-g-good care of me."  She wiped a tear from her eye.  " I-I take several extended tr-tr-tr-trips a year to diff-different places in and out-out-outside of Equestria. I've been to Japone, Yak-Yakistan, Saddle Arabia... Did I m-m-mention that I lived-lived among the b-Buffalo?"

As they neared the end of the path, Dynamo smiled as he listened to Bluebell's response. "I do remember you mentioned that you lived in Appleloosa, as well as living among the buffalo. I remember visiting Appleloosa once for a tournament, but I don't recall seeing any buffalo. I still believe you and take your word for it. Hopefully, I can meet them sometime. I didn't know you lived in Canterlot, but I guess I do now." He chuckled, before gaining a look of concern as Bluebell wiped away a tear. However, he chalked it up as bringing up fond memories of Twilight and the others. "I think you had mentioned Princess Twilight's name, but I didn't know that you lived with her, Spike, the Princesses and Twilight's mother. That must be a huge honor. It sounds to me that you all must have been close." He smiled softly, before his jaw dropped at the many places she had been too. "You've been to Japone? Lucky!" He stuck his tongue out playfully, before giving a sheepish smile. "I've always wanted to go to Japone. Yak-Yakistan and Saddle Arabia also sound like really great places to visit. Being able to go sightseeing and enjoy the history and culture. I haven't really traveled all that much, to be honest. The only places I've ever been too were Baltimare, Las Pegasus, Manehattan, and New Maresy. I try to travel every now and then. I was going to probably move to Ponyville, but I'm really enjoying it here in Friendshire. I do think taking extended trips every year is a nice idea. A sort of way to have a vacation and I guess explore the world." He would say, taking the first right like Thundy had instructed. 

"Speaking of Twilight and Celestia, I was just wondering something. Are you perhaps their student? I remember you mentioned Twilight's name during the race, but I wasn't sure if you were a student of hers. I did remember during the time we were training or last night that you mentioned Princess Celestia. If you were their students, then how did the opportunity arise? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

"It's a lo-lo-long story, but Twilight s-secretly taught-taught me how to r-r-r-read and r-r-write, even though she was stru-struggling to kee-keep up with her own st-studies.  Wh-when Princess Celestia f-found out about what we were do-do-doing, she took me on as her st-student. I count myself l-l-lucky.  That's why I t-t-teach young colts and f-fillies as well.  I got to n-n-know lots-lots of sweet and gentle p-ponies in-in Ponyville. I sh-should take you th-th-there some time. I think-think they would really l-l-like you.  So where d-d-do you come from, and how-how did you arrive here?"

After making the first right, Dynamo listened intently as Bluebell answered his previous question. He was confused at the mention of being secretly taught about reading and writing. He wanted to ask, but he didn't want to seem rude. He felt it best to ask later, or wait until she had brought it up. He didn't want to be rude, make her uncomfortable or upset. He did smile at the mention of Twilight helping her. "It sounds like Princess Twilight was a true, true friend when it came to helping out her friends. I guess that makes sense as she's the Princess of Friendship." He chuckled at the irony in his response. "I'd say that's definitely really lucky to be taken on as Princess Celestia's student. At the same time, I wouldn't say lucky as I think you're really smart and strong. So, I can definitely see Princess Celestia finding something very special in you. I'm guessing when you said that you teach young colts and fillies, then that means you help Princess Celestia teach at Celestia's School for gifted Unicorns. If not, then I guess that means that you teach fillies and colts wherever you go in your travels." He would say, nodding at the mention of Ponyville, as well as her question.

"I'd like that, to be honest. The funny thing was that I was almost planning on moving to Ponyville. I actually come from Fillidelphia and I grew up there for most of my life. After graduating from school, I wanted to follow my dream of being a professional video game player. My teacher, an earth pony named Pinball Wizard, had told me to head to Ponyville. He said that the town was the epicenter of where video games had first started, while mentioning that the town was also right in the middle of all of the larger scale tournaments around Equestria. Like I was mentioning before, I was planning to move to Ponyville. However, I had heard rumors that a big tournament was going on in a far off town. Deciding to take on the challenge, I followed the directions and somehow ended up in Friendshire. Unfortunately, there was not tournaments, but it didn't really bother me, to be honest. I'm glad to be in this town as this was the first time that I've met and made so many welcoming ponies, creatures and friends. That, and I was able to meet a kind and sweet mare like you." He blushed as his eyes trailed away to the side, before his eyes glanced back towards the bespectacled mare. "What are some things that you like?" He asks, before realizing how broad of a question he had asked. "I-I'm sorry about that. I guess I didn't realize that the question seemed a bit vague. Considering one could say their favorite color, before changing the topic to their favorite color." He chuckled, before shaking his head. "I think it would be better if I rephrased myself. How about what are some things that you like as in favorite hobbies or pastimes?"

"I'm not sure if I can contribute in a significant way. I suppose I can do a simple thing like standing outside and guarding the entrance. But I want to help, and maybe I'll learn something from it."

“I’m not really sure what to do, either, so maybe we could find a way to help together,” Pencil suggested to Tree Song. “I’m pretty sure you will be able to contribute something important, even if you don’t think you can,” Oh, if she only knew the irony of her words.

Pencil waited to see how Samurai and Shadow would respond. After all, they were the ones unofficially in charge of this mission. As she waited, she glanced around in all directions, not looking at anything in particular.

As Thundy was working on his Ford Mustang a little, he heard a familar voice. His left ear twitch. He looked up and saw Bluebell and Dynamo. "Hey! You made it! So glad you could come. I got quite the surprise for you Dynamo..." Thundy said walking over to a car that was covered by a large cloth that covered the entire body. "Are you ready to see it?" He asked.

"It sounds like we have some things in common. I'm always down to try new things like how I had that breakfast Sam had made, for example. I like to travel too when it comes to competing in tournaments or going to conventions. For me, I like video games, some board and card games, anime, reading manga or just reading in general, listen to music, swimming, going to conventions, dressing up or cosplaying, practicing/learning magic and competing in tournaments." He admitted, feeling nervous as he listed things he liked to do from time to time. It wasn't that he didn't like to admit it, but more along the lines of talking about these things to others. There were those that had shared the same interest as he had, but that was mostly at conventions. Most of the time, others would find the things he was interested in to be weird or ridiculous. He had just hoped that he hadn't said anything strange to the bespectacled mare. "I'm not sure if it's the same, but I can relate to the whole reading romance novels. I've read my share of romance stories when it comes to fan fiction." He would say, raising a curious eyebrow at the mention of a rodeo at Appleloosa. "A rodeo, huh? Do you mean the one that others compete in barrel racing, roping contests, steeplechase, hay bale stacking and rodeo clowns? If so, then I actually saw one once before making my way back home to Fillidelphia. It looked like a lot of fun and even more fun to compete. I never competed in one before, but it still looked cool." Hearing that she had mentioned about being the only unicorn competing. Dynamo's eyes widened as a memory had sparked to the surface.

"Wait a second. I think it was about a few months ago to around a year ago, but did you compete in the last rodeo at Appleloosa. If so, then I think I remember you. I remember seeing a unicorn had competed in the competition. I won't lie to you as I thought you were really impressive. I'm guessing the rule was that if a unicorn competes in certain things, like hay bale stacking, then you can't use magic to help. Even so, you were pretty awesome and I think it's cool if anyone can go and compete." He smiled, looking towards where Bluebell had pointed towards. As he looked, he remembered they had made the first left, before seeing that the shop was indeed on their right. "I believe so. This is the first time that I've seen the shop, but we also followed Thundy's directions on getting back to town, as well as to his shop. So, I'm going to go with an eeyup." He would say, their suspicions being confirmed by Thundy, who had made his presence known by stepping out of the shop. "Hey, Thundy! We followed the directions you gave us, so I'm glad we were able to make it." He smiled with a wave, before tilting his head to the side in curiosity. "I remember you were saying that to me telepathically, but I'm not sure what you had in mind. Given that they were at a car shop, he guessed that the surprise might have been a new car, but he didn't want to assume. As he walked into the shop with Bluebell, he took notice of Thundy, who had moved over towards a large cloth. "Okay and I'm ready to see the surprise you have in store, Thundy." He nods, waiting patiently and anticipating as to what Thundy had in store.

“Well say hello to your brand new ride.” Thundy said pulling off the cloth and revealing Dynamo’s new Lamborghini Huracan LP-640 with its modified body kit, gamer vinyl wrap, full engine tuning and large wing was revealed. The license plate spelled out DYNAMO.
